I have been going through so much lip balm this winter. I'm really struggling with sore, cracked, chapped lips from the harsh cold winter here.I think I'm a lip balm expert now with the amount I have bought to try out!Mountain Sky is a local small family owned buisness here in The Kootenays.

They sell soap, facial products, lip balms etc and all contain natural ingredients. The lip balm comes in four different varieties Unflavored,Mint,Blackberry and Raspberry.I choose the Mint to try. They are really creamy and glide so easily over the lips. They really moisturize my lips and are healing them as well. Here is a list of the ingredients from there website:

Beeswax has soothing and softening properties and helps the skin retain moisture.

Shea Butter is hailed for its protecting and emollient properties. Rich in cinnamon acid, it also protects the skin from UV rays.

Hemp Oil is rich in omega 3 and omega 6 essential fatty acids, it has a full amino acid spectrum meaning that it provides complete protein and it has a high mineral content.

Meadowfoam oil revitalizes dry and chapped lips. Known to retain the skin’s moisture.

Jojoba Oil is a liquid wax. It closely resembles the sebum of the skin, and is rich in vitamin E. This promotes a glowing complexion

Vitamin E helps to protect and soothe the skin from UV damage

Castor Oil offers anti-inflammatory properties and helps treat eczema, psoriasis, chapped lips and burns.

Almond Oil is rich in proteins and Vitamin D, and is considered extremely nourishing and moisturising – contains olein glyceride linoleic acid. It can be expected to sooth dry skin and irritated areas.

Rosemary Extract is a natural preservative.
