Nars Bronzer in Laguna is great! Gives you a nice sun kissed glow and really enhances the contours of your face. Very pigmented and works well at achieving a light to medium bronzed looked. It's steeper in price compared to value brands, but very worth it, especially since you can usually pick it up in a set with some other great and popular NARS products!
This is hands down my all time favourite makeup item! Most makeup items I have I enjoy but wouldn't always re purchase them, but this will be a repurchase for many many years! It is light yet effective as a bronzer! It does look intimidating due to the colour and shimmer but with just a very light hand it gives your face a beautiful natural looking glow! The only downside is the price, it is a NARS product so it of course is going to be a very high price, but it is totally worth it in my opinion! Looooove this product!
Sorry, but I have to disagree with absolutely everybody who says this is the be all and end all as far as bronzers go. I have tried a lot of bronzers from many different companies - cream, solid in a compact, loose mineral, gel/liquid, you name it - and can tell you that this one is another over-hyped, over-priced product. I got this in Laguna in a limited edition zipped case which included Orgasm blush and Albatross highlighter. Out of the 3, I wouldn't buy any of them again. Especially not the bronzer. This is $58 later! *ggrrrr*
Is it ok? Sure. But for the price of this product, you could get a tonne of either ELF Studio products. Sephora even makes a far better bronzer with no sparkle in it, spectacular color, great pigmentation, which applies smoothly and lasts all day. I picked that up for a mere $6. The ELF Studio bronzer/blush product I picked up for only $3! And the colors in it are so close to Laguna and NARS Deep Throat blush it isn't at all possible to tell them apart when applied. They even apply more smoothly than NARS products! For $3! Then there are the cream bronzing sticks from NYC and NYX which are also absolutely beautiful and are between $3 and $7 each, depending on where you buy them from. Try Cherry Culture or Beauty Joint online. Beauty Joint has far better customer service and sells products at a discount, with cheap shipping to Canada.
Give this bronzer product a miss and hit Target for ELF Studio products, or just shop onlone at their website (eyeslipsface.com). You won't be sorry you did, but you will be sorry if you buy this first and then find out lster the ELF products are just as good, if not better. I have found NARS to be seriouisly over-hyped in all cases, be it with their eye shadows, blushes or bronzers. Not worth the dosh at all. Wish I would have known that before I bought into all the hype which so many women are perpetuating all over the internet. I have learned my lesson, although it has been a very expensive one :-)
Wow, this bronzing powder is amazing! It is perfect for a sun kissed look. Mine is in the color Laguna wich is the perfect shade for light to bronze skin tone. This bronzer is great to define and contour the entire face and to enhance the look of tan skin.
I love NARS Bronzing Powder in Laguna - although it's intimidating in the pan, it delivers a gorgeous, believable bronze that is hard to overdo - an impressive feat on a pale face like mine. I usually use this to contour my face as it's an amazing way to bring out my cheekbones without looking like I tried too hard while delivering a little warmth and colour to the face.
This best part about this bronzer is that it is pigmented and therefore you do not need a lot of it (economical!) which is nice as it is from mid to high range in cost, in my opinion.
While NARS only has 2 different colours - I think that Laguna can work for an impressive range of skintones, from pale to medium, while their Casino bronzer is great for darker skintones.
I would definitely recommend trying this out and make sure to use a good brush (a fluffy bronzing/cheek brush) to maximize its use!
I get tanned really easily so I normally don't need bronzer, but if I need a bit of color in the dreary winter months, NARS' Laguna is the one I use. NARS is my go-to brand for blushes, and their bronzers are as well too!
A little lasts a long time and the packaging is solid. The color is a warm tone that flatters my yellow undertones and gives me a nice glow with a light swipe over my face. Doesn't oxidize on me/turn that icky orange color.
It's a bit pricey, but when you think about how one package can last you a few years, then it's totally worth it!
I walked in Sephora and had no intention on buying anything. As most of you can probably agree, you can't ever walk into Sephora without walking out with something. My something on this day was the Nars Bronzing Power which was a worthwhile $39 spent. It goes on evenly, gives you a "tan" and has a nice shimmer to it in daylight. I find it to be lightweight and very natural looking. I find a lot of bronzers give you that orange kind of glow. It's a bit on the expensive side but definitely well worth it.
I love this bronzer!! I have been using it for a few years and it is amazing. I find it gives me a nice golden glow and it is so easy to use. You never get a blotchy look and if i can use it and still look great then anyone can apply it!! You will never look like a carrot if you use this powder.
I’m obsessed with bronzer. OBSESSED. Which is funny because I’m a black girl. But my Bobbi Brown Bronzer in Deep is quietly being replaced (don’t tell her) with Nars Bronzing Powder in ‘Casino’. I love it. It has shimmer, which I hate, but it so subtle, and the colour is so warm. It’s heaven in a compact.
