Ok I'm liking it
I have used Nivea for many different things, such as cream after my tattoos, my babies bottom that was years ago. This 2 in 1 is ok, I found it a bit greasy feeling for me, and really think they should look into re branding there product.
I was pleasantly surprised!
Love the light weight feel, absorbed right into my skin, didn't leave a sticky, wet feeling, and smelt amazing! I normally don't use Nivea cream for my face, but I was pleasantly surprised, and would definitely re purchase this mosturizor again! The price was a little high for me, only because the amount of product you get wasn't as much as I would of expected from the size of the box, but other then that, all around very pleased!
It was okay, I didn't get a sample I actually purchased this. I think it works more as a moisturizer not so much the primer part. I wouldn't recommend this if you have slightly oily skin or not dry skin. I found it made my skin quite shiny.
I am always open to trying new skin care products as they are not all created equally. The smell was not bad, it was not very strong either. I may have done better to try the primer for sensitive skin because the first time I put this product on I had to take it off because it was making my skin feel tingly and dry. This product was not for me but if I would have tried a more sensitive formula it may have been a better match.
I received a sample of the Nivea 2-in-1 Moisturizing Primer to review. I've been using the product for over a month now. At first use, the product is non-greasy and cooling on the skin. It feels awesome. However, I didn't find it moisturizing enough to use as a moisturizer itself (especially in the dry Canadian winters). I will continue to use during the summer to see how it is, however I feel that it is not a replacement for serum, yet not a replacement for moisturizer.
I loved using it but will most likely not be purchasing in the future.
It worked out ok. I wasn't a fan of the smell or texture. I've used this brand before and thought maybe it had changed, but still wasn't pleased. I used it for about a week to really give it a try
I noticed no difference when using Nivea 2-in-1 Primer.
I really wanted to like this product because I like other Nivea products that I've tried. But this one was a big miss for me. I tried using it as the moisturizer and primer (without my regular moisturizer), using it after my full regular routine (with my regular moisturizer), with and without putting on makeup afterwards. It didn't work well as a moisturizer or a primer. Maybe if they had focused on one benefit or the other they would have gotten it right?
My skin actually felt more greasy, and sooner when using this product than without it. And it didn't help even my skin tone or minimize redness either. I really tried to like this product, but it's just not for me.
Thank you Chick Adviser for giving me this product to try. No matter what the outcome, it's always fun to try something new! #GotItFree
I did not enjoy this Nivea 2 in 1 Moisturizing Primer. I had high hopes and was excited at 1st but it did not meet my expectation. The product it self is smooth and light which I like about it. The scent is light and not over powering. When I 1st applied the product it felt really moisturizing it dried to a matte finish; which I also liked. After a few minutes the moisture was gone and i didn't like the way it made my skin feel. When i applied my make up it felt even more drier and my make up did not look as good as it usually does. I must mention though that my foundation is a matte foundation so the two did not go together. Alone as moisturizer or with make up it did not impress me. I have combination skin so maybe it would work better with oily skin and normal to oily foundation. I still love Nivea though, we have a really great history together, their products have always impressed me and its a brand I trust so I will continue to purchase their products #gotitfree
I got to try this for free being a member of the product review club.
I enjoy the texture of this, it's like a gel and cream mixed together. It was light and not sticky. It did absorb quickly. I'm not a fan of the scent though, I can't quite place why.
In the 2 weeks I've been using this cream I can't quite see a difference in my skin. I have noticed my foundation is staying a little longer and not quite disappearing. My face still does shine up though and I need to blot still. My face does feel moisturizer though.
I'm not sure if I would purchase this particular formulation again. I have combination skin and the one I tested is for normal skin. This product didn't really wow me. I would still recommend this though.
