Not high end

I received this as a free sample from the chick advisor review club, and was excited to try it. I always use a primer under my makeup, and sometimes I just wear a primer without makeup. My usual brand is Urban Decay, which is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. This primer can't even hold a candle to it. It is way too thin, it goes on like a lotion, dries, and leaves my skin feeling dry. Also the smell is just very unpleasant, I didn't enjoy trying this at all.

The whole point of a primer is to make makeup last longer and look fresh all day. This primer didn't even achieve that. No lasting effect at all. I would not recommend this.

Great Product...just not for me

Long story short, I have super oily skin. I have such a hard time finding anything that will stay on my face longer than a few hours that doesn't require a ton of powder and setting spray, so while I had high hopes for this product it just doesn't work for me. Here's my general impressions:
1. the smell is fantastic, like an herbal smell, not chemical at all (huge plus)
2. the feel is great, it glides on and gets tacky right away, so your makeup has something to grab onto
3. I had no problem with this causing any redness, which is one of my normal problems.

The only downside that I found was that it did not make my makeup last longer than it usually does. After 2 hours of wear I could see my oils pushing through, and by 4 hours my foundation on my t-zone was gone. This is a problem I have with almost every primer that I own, so this isn't a huge deal-breaker, but would lead me to recommend this more for someone with normal to dry skin rather than oily. All in all a decently good product that I would recommend although I don't plan to re-purchase because it just isn't working for me.

Right off the bat, I liked the smell of it. I like that it is made without synthetic ingredients or preservatives.
Product goes on nice and seems to do its job.

Also peta certified is always a good thing!

I was lucky enough to get a chance to sample this primer. I have very mixed opinions of it though. When I first tried it, i first noticed the texture, the smell and the colour. It reminded me of sunscreen initially so I was not sure how I would feel about it. I still was willing to give it a chance though. I was pleasantly surprised after I tried it. It held my makeup on pretty we'll for the say and I think it does work well as a base. It did not feel too greasy on my skin ether. I really like how its a natural product as well. The sunscreen vibe it gave me was enough for me to say I did not love it and the the cost of it is a little steep. I would recommend it though because it does act as a good base for your makeup.

The product smells wonderful. But I don’t think I’d buy it. It didn’t make my make up last any longer. It is pretty pricey.

More of a moisturizer than primer

The smell of this primer is quite herbal, so if you are not a fan of earthy tones, I would say pass this one up. I used this primer before going out, and normally other primers I have used in the past aided in decreasing my foundation from oxidizing. However, this one did not; it had a little bit of sticky feeling to it. Despite these drawbacks, it didn't dry out my skin and seemed to smooth out my complexion. I would say it would act better as a moisturizer than a primer. There are better primers out there for similar costs.

I got a trial size of this product for free in exchange for my opinion on it. I don't wear too much makeup and sometimes just wear primers by themselves. I liked the texture and scent of this product, but it felt a bit tacky on my skin after it dried.

Nude by Nature Primer... just OK

I was so excited to hear that Nude by Nature was coming to Canada and couldn't wait to try this product. I use a primer daily and really love how it helps my makeup to last and creates a lovely smooth canvas.

Unfortunately, I didn't find this primer to be very effective in creating that smooth canvas or making my makeup last longer compared to the primer I usually use. I also found the scent very strong (so surprised by this!) and could smell it all day on my face, which gave me a headache.

I will definitely try other Nude by Nature products but just didn't love this one.

Not a fan

I #receivedthisfree from #chickadvisor to try and review and I have used it on a few occasions now and in a few ways (alone and as a primer prior to applying foundation) and I wasn’t a fan of either. I did like the packaging (simple) and the application was easy and spreadable/buildable, however I didn’t find it to do anything! My skin still appeared oily and shiny an hour after application and I even found my skin to break out in some of the areas I applied more (t-zone) there are more effective products out there in my opinion!

Nude and itchy

Getting ready to go out I take out the primer and prep my face with it. It starts tingling which I’ve never felt before. Go on with the rest of my makeup routine and start my day and my face was incredibly itchy the whole day. I have never had makeup that caused my skin to be so itchy. I was constantly scratching my face the whole day. Super uncomfortable and I won’t be buying again.
