Didn't love the way the Perfecting Primer made my skin feel

I received a sample of the Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer free to try out from ChickAdvisor. I have to admit, I'm a bit of a foundation primer snob. The one I use goes on like skin and leaves my skin feeling soft and, well, silky. This one does not. I let it dry completely before applying foundation, and noticed It left an obvious layer on my skin that I could feel with my fingers.
I will say the product did have a nice, pleasing scent. Although for those looking for unscented skin products, this may not be for you.
I will be sticking with my regular primer, which I assume I probably shouldn't name in this review, but it is BY FAR the best I've ever used. Nude By Nature's primer did not live up to my expectations and needs.

The Pros
This primer did tighten the skin as it promised. That's All.

The Cons
Honestly this primer sucks. I said I was going to post an eye makeup picture on Instagram by using this primer as the base but, after smelling the product I just didn't want to. The smell of the product reminds me of those pain relieving rubbing creams. HORRIBLE!!! I had to try the product on still so I took the smell out of the equation and put it around and on my eye lid. It was too greasy / oily. Like I waited for it to set and stuff but it was too oily. I applied my eye makeup thinking maybe it will be fine but after I started doing the cut crease and all the other stuff. My make up wasn't setting down. Horrible experience.

It was so-so

I've used colourless primer and after trying this tinted product I think I will stick to my colouress products. I thought this primer was ok in that it didn't make my skin react but I didn't find too much of a difference with it on. My makeup still applied well on top of this primer. I would still recommend this to friends to try out at least and appreciate the complimentary opportunity from Chickadvisor to try this out myself.

not for me

I was not a fan of this primer. I had high hopes and was disappointed when I tried it. I love that it is silicone free and cruelty free but it did not hold up with my makeup. When I first applied it almost felt like it was stinging my face. My foundation was all patchy. I have super sensitive dehydrated/combo skin so it may work better for other types of skin.

didn't work for me

I have a lot of primers and this did nothing for me. Considering the price, I wouldn't buy it again. My Smashbox and L'Oreal Paris primers work pretty well in controlling oil and blurring my pores. which this product did not do.

So good my teenage daughter took it!!

So good my teenage daughter now uses it. Feels nice a smooth not overly heavy. Nice base for the rest of the makeup. Leaves no shine and goes on smoothly

Average primer

I used the primer once and to be honest it made no difference. However, it is light weight and did not irritate my sensitive skin. So that is a plus. However, I would not buy this as i could not see a difference after using it.

Perfecting primer

Loved the texture of the primer. Not too heavy or greasy on the skin. Helped me feel like my make up was set and lasted throughout the day. Not a product I would typically use for an “every day” but something I would consider purchasing for those more special occasions

It is a good product

The primer has a good amell, texture, however, I found that I needed to use more than normal to have product cover the whole facial area. It would be an item that I would use again, but not my go to item.

Smoothing finish

What comes to mind foremost about this product is that it actually does what it says! Smoothes and blurs facial imperfections, preping the skin for a flawless and longer lasting finish
