Worked well

I received this as a free sample to test out.

I have very dry skin and usually use a moisturizing primer, so when I put this stuff on my face I was convinced it would dry me out. Amazingly it did not! It did a great job. My make-up looked fantastic for quite a long time.

I only wear make-up on special occasions, so only generally for 4-6 hours. Usually by the end of the event the make-up is settling into fine lines, however this stuff did not do that. I kept checking myself in the mirror (as I normally do) so I could smooth out the stuff that settled into fine lines, but I never had to.

There are two drawbacks however. Using this primer made it feel like I had pounds of make-up on my face. My make-up looked fine, but it felt heavy.

Second, is the smell when you're first applying it. It's heavily scented. I hated the smell. Very perfumey. I thought for sure I was going to have an allergic reaction to it. I didn't though. Also the scent doesn't last, otherwise I would not be giving this a good review.

I will almost definitely use this again, and would recommend it for anyone, even dry skinned ladies!

Not meant for oily skin

I love the texture, smell and that this primer is natural. However, it is too greasy feeling after a couple hours for oily skin ladies. I really love this brand though.

smooth primer indeed

apart from the main pros of this product being naturally derived and cruelty free, it truly is a great primer.. i used this primer after putting on lotion as i have very dry skin.. it glides on super smooth. the foundation then comes on super silky which is amazing.. i used this with a BB cream as well and it was amazing as well. i only found that it still lacked in smoothness on my patchy areas which was around the chin and around the nose. it left some dry white patches and an uneven finish.

the product has a very rustic sage type smell. personally i love the smell and find it gives it that true earth friendly vibe. thank you #chickadvisor for letting me test yet another awesome product. #gotitforfree

Great at extending make-up

This is a silky, lotion-like primer, not a silicone one, so it won't fill or blur pores. What it does is extend make-up and helps it look more blended. It has a scent upon application, but noting offensive or old-lady-like. I did have some break-through oil at the end of the day in my t-zone, and my skin is normal. I would say this is not for oily skin types. Maybe this is more of a winter primer for me, although I do like a primer to blur pores.

Solid primer

This primer felt lightweight and applied easily on my skin. It did what a good primer should and protecting my face from the chemicals. Although I am not particularly sold as a HG product, I will continue to use this and may even consider repurchasing.

This performed as good as my high end products

I tried this under my drug store foundation and my high end foundation, and the performance was great! The sample size was enough for me to get a great feel for the product. Thanks!

Great natural primer!

The primer feels very light when I put it in my skin. I does not minimizes my pores but it helps my bb cream stay longer when I wear it together. It is great for natural, everyday look.

Awesome primer

When I received my Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer from #ChickAdvisor from their #gotitfree campaign, I was really excited to try the product as make up literally slides off of my face. I have combination skin and its tough to find a products that help make sure that the make up wears well. I liked this as soon as I tried it because it felt light and it felt like it would last. I used it before my sister in laws bridal shower and had a great experience with my make up.

I would buy Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer

Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer is natural and a cruelty free product. It has a nice smell. The primer dries fast and does not leave an oily feeling. I would buy this product again.

I received this product for free as part of the Chick Advisor product review club.

I liked this primer, it went on smoothly and left a nice finish to my face. It held up well under makeup and I even used it alone a few times. It did not irritate my sensitive skin. I would buy this product again and am looking forward to trying other Nude by Nature products!
