I am basing my ratings and review on my thoughts of the product, rather than my cat's, unfortunately. My cat, Oreo, did not care for the Nutrience Grain Free SubZero Prairie Red cat food that we received from ChickAdvisor free to review. We try our best to give our cat good food with real meat as the first ingredient. Sometime, however, my husband purchases lower grade/lower cost food for him. It appears that my cat likes junk food. I'd love to only feed him Nutrience, because I could see the quality right away. I was impressed with the natural real ingredients in the product such as beef, wild boar and lamb; plus, I appreciated the addition of whole eggs and vegetables like squash, sweet potato and broccoli. For these reasons, I do recommend Nutrience Grain Free SubZero cat food and I will continue to try to encourage my cat to eat better. Thank you so much for this opportunity, ChickAdvisor!

My one kitty has a very sensitive tummy and many foods i tend to see a second time (ewww) this food did not make a second appearance. This is always a win in my books!!!

This kibble was a favourite for 2 of my 3 cats. The only cat who didn't like it is the pickiest cat on the planet though so that says NOTHING about the food itself, and everything about the cat who will ONLY eat Orijen or Acana. More specifically she will only eat the chicken one, the other flavours she won't even taste, and the Nutrience I got was Prarie Red and it is beef/boar/bison based so she was out right from the beginning :) Of the other cats, one seemed to very much enjoy the freeze-dried bits of meat in the kibble especially, actually scooping it out of the bowl to eat first (followed by a full plow of the face to inhale the tasty kibbles) and the other cat enjoyed it all, quickly. Neither cat required a phasing-out period, they both loved it straight away and if given the choice went to the Nutrience over their other kibble (I think the meaty bits helped). They both especially loved it mixed with their wet food, this was the winning combo for our family in the end - a bit of wet food with a healthy dose of Nutrience Sub-Zero. I noticed that the cats seemed to have more energy, and it is definitely doing something positive to their coats, they're shedding like crazy and silky soft. There was some noticeable difference in the stool, darker more solid pieces that stink quite a bit more than usual, but that's to be expected with the super high protein levels in this kibble. I also need to add that this is the only kibble (to my knowledge) that clearly states it has Glucosamine and Chondroitin in the food, which is a great addition for the optimal joint and bladder health of my elderly clowder :) I will 100% buy it and will replace the crappy treats they like with this kibble and they won't even be mad!

My senior cat very love this food and my other cat love all kind of food so obviosy she's love it . He stops to be sick from the beginning I start to feed him with Nutrience food. I recommend to everyone.

As soon as I put the Nutrience Sub Zero food in my cats dishes they all came milling around to check out the new food. The first thing my cats went for was the freeze dried bits, they certainly enjoyed eating those bits first! The quality of the food is very good and I like that it's grain free. Overall when given the choice between this food and my usual brand, my kitties didn't seem to have a preference. Their fur is shiny and I think the litter box doesn't smell as bad when they ate food that is not premium or grain free. I liked the packaging also with a good seal and easy to distribute. I would buy this food again and I feel confident that the quality is sufficient and healthy for my cats. I also appreciate that I don't smell the food either as I have experienced some foods that have a very strong smell. I also liked the size of the kibble. Perfect for munching without leaving crumbs! I have many cats and price would be the only issue for me however I am willing to pay their extra price for a product that is Canadian and made with real meat and fish especially with freeze dried real meat and fish.

Took her a while to eat the bowl that hadn't been mixed in with her old food, but surprisingly she ate it. She is usually a super picky eater, my toddler eats better than her. She's a no treat, no wet food, usually just her usual brand kinda girl. I was very pleased that she was eating it becuase I am very happy with the list of ingredients and the nutritional value that it has to my kitty, my first fur baby. My Siamese baby was able to enjoy the Fraser Valley flavor. I've noticed her coat is a little shinier but other than that she seems her normal self, which is a good thing. She is still all regualr, and adjusting to it well. It's in the same price bracket of her current food, but it has a huge difference in quality of ingredients. It is something I would recommend, based on list of ingredients and how she's loving it. I was very sad to read the ingredients on her current food. This is a definite switch I plan on making for her.

My cat Gracie received the Prairie Red SUB Zero cat food from Nutrience!! I had seen Nutrience products before at the pet store but just stuck to the same brand I always got! I was so happy to get the opportunity to try this product!!! As soon as the box arrived in the door, she was meowing and wanting into it!! After a few days of mixing it with her other brand she has now switched over fully to Subzero!! She has more energy and loves her food!!!

I have four cats who i was already feeding the grain free food too so they transitioned to this food really easily and seemed to enjoy it
