Strange consistency

I'm not sure if I got a bad one or if that's what the consistency was supposed to be like but the product was chunky, it came out like a hard worm and it was hard to apply. Pretty disappointing I was excited to try it but it's unusable.

Not worth it.

When I try to get product on my finger, it kinda explodes everywhere on the counter and in the sink. Everytime I tried the product, it did that. So giant loss of product. The product itself is kinda good, but you lose so much that it’s not worth it.

Not for me

I really had high expectations from this primer. But I don’t know what it is about this primer I tried to use it two times and I ended up washing my face after applying my foundation over it. Honestly I can’t really tell it came out really dry powdery product from the tube and gave my face a tacky feeling, my foundation didn’t seem to stay or blend in properly. Not for me.

Takes some getting used to

I don't think I've ever tried NYX primer, so I was excited for this one. When I squeezed the contents into my hand I found that it was rather chunky. (I was expecting more of a lotion-like texture) I applied a small amount to my face, but I found it didn't spread around very well. (I guess because of the consistency). I did notice some pore minimizing though. Certain areas of my face did look smoother. I also noticed it had a strange smell to it. I'm definitely not a fan of the smell. I would like to give this primer another chance in the future though because I think something happened to it during shipping. I believe it became frozen at some point, because I don't think the consistency and smell should be like that. **Edit to add, I just searched online for more information about this product, and the consistency IS supposed to be like that. I still wanted to leave my comments as is though, because that was my first impressions of this product.

Not my favourite!

I was excited to try this product because I have large, noticeable pores that are hard to cover. I really didn’t like the texture and I didn’t notice any difference after using the product.

sticky

i received this from chickadvisor to review. I generally dont use primers and I find that they make my skin greasy for no reason. This was so no different. it was sticky, and even though i know primers are supposed to be sticky this one was extra sticky and left a yucky feeling on my face

Did not like the texture

I'm not sure if all the primers are the same as the one I got but the texture of mine was terrible. I squeezed a small amount into my hand and it was like little crumbs falling. Maybe the cold from transporting did this?
I tried to smooth out some of the crumbs in my hand and then try to apply it to my face. The cream has no smell so I feel this will be great for someone with sensitive skin. After applying this made my face feel a little dry, although I did see a difference in my pores. My face seemed to look smoother.

I have to reserve a bit of judgement about this product, and give it the benefit of the doubt. When I received it, the product came sputtering out of the tube and crumbled all over the place. Not exactly the way you want your primer to come out of the tube! I don't know if I got a bad batch or if it was compromised in transit (maybe too cold?) but obviously not a great first impression. Applying it was a different story. Velvety, smooth, non-scented, I really enjoyed it (what little product I could actually get on my face). I think if I were to try it in it's intended form, I would really like it. *shrug*

Not a great purchase

I was so sad that this face primer did not work for me. It made my face feel really weird and it sits heavy on your skin. When I applied make up it would creat weird dry patches on my face.
