A bit drying

I received the color 'Monaco" in one of the monthly boxy charm subscription boxes and wasn't even going to open it due to the dark rich color, I can't and won't wear super dark colors, After reading one chicks review a few weeks ago I decided to give it a try and she is right, the look is deceiving. Yes it's a bit dark, but not what I expected at all. It's kind of like a deep mauve with a shimmer to it, it actually looks just okay when I apply it. At this point I am not in love with it, but I don't dislike it enough to give it away either.
As far as long lasting, I'm not too sure about that - this stuff dries out my lips and I have to wear it with a clear gloss or balm. Combining the two I only get a couple of hours before I notice it starting to fade and there is transfer onto cups and such, but that's most likely because I am adding some hydration with it.
I am undecided whether I will purchase it again or try another color. Once the summer comes and I get some more color on my face I may fall in love with it or I may not like it and in that case I will give it to my sister.

Beautiful color!

I have the shade mocha. This lipstick smells really good! It applies smoothly and is weightless. It also doesn't dry out my lips and lasts all day! My only problem is that I have to apply 2-3 coats for me to be able to see the actual color. It's not that pigmented with the first application.

I’ve got a special shade from my ipsy glam bag in january. Been wearing it even since and it’s great! Good color pay off, doesn’t crack or wear off easilly !:)

Pretty color lasts pretty good!

I have this in the color Ipsy unzipped. It is a very pretty color not super bold but it has good pigment! It lasts not quite all day but through lunch. It comes off a little on water bottles etc but not as bad as some products.
