It’s okay
I liked it for the price but it’s ok. It’s not super amazing but not bad too.. my hair felt a little coarser after. When I tried the whole set I liked it better!
My hair felt so dry after
I was not a fan of this conditioner. First of all, the shampoo made my hair SO tangly, so the conditioner had a huge job to do trying to detangle that mess. The second time I used it I fully brushed my hair before washing, then brought a comb into the shower to comb the conditioner through, but that didn’t even work. I feel like it dried my hair out too.
Soft, But Left My Hair Greasy
The Bond Protein Repair Conditioner added even more weight to my hair than the shampoo did. While it made my hair feel soft initially, it also made it greasy and flat very quickly. My curls, which usually stay bouncy for days, fell flat within hours. I think the formula could be great for someone needing deep moisture, but for my hair type, it was just too heavy.
Good conditioner for dry hair, not for damaged
For a bond repair conditioner I was hoping this would make my hair feel soft, strong and smooth. Unfortunately it didn’t do any of that. The serum as a third step saved my hair thankfully.
It feels great when applying it in the shower but once out of the shower I knew my hair was going to need more than what this can deliver. If you have any damage to your hair this might not be the best bond repair system for you.
Light hydration, may need more time
The conditioner had a lovely, creamy texture and was easy to apply, but even after using a generous amount, the ends of my hair still felt dry. I was hoping for more softness and hydration, especially since the range is meant for repair. That said, sometimes conditioners take a few uses to show results, so I might give it another try before making a final call.
Decent budget friendly option
A little background on my hair type; it’s short, chin length virgin hair. I don’t use styling products, just leave in conditioner or hair oil.
This was an okay conditioner. My hair feels smooth after rinsing and drying. I felt I had to use lots of product to properly condition my hair. For some reason it doesn’t really feel like anything when applied on wet hair.
I will finish this bottle but won’t repurchase.
Works well
The conditioner works well but isn’t anything special. It makes my hair feel smooth after using and helps to detangle. It is like a standard conditioner. I don’t see any other noticeable results other than detangling and feeling smooth like any other brand.
Less moisturized than hoped
I had high hopes for this product because I love the matching shampoo, but this conditioner did not hydrate my hair as much as my other usual brands. It washes clean without much residue, but during blowdrying the ends of my stands felt dryer than usual and kind of desiccated. I need a very hydrating conditioner to combat my use of straightening tools - without it my hair can feel like straw. So unfortunately I don’t feel like I will use this product again going forward.
It has an amazing scent and its creamy
I've been an OGX user for many years, I tried this new conditioner from the Bond Protein Repair family and although my hair was very soft and shiny, it didn't manage to detangle my thin hair and this is one of the main reasons why I use conditioner on the ends. The texture is creamy and the scent is delicious.
Not really hydrating
I used the conditioner along with the shampoo and serum form the same line. I was not particularly impressed by the conditionner. My hair didn’t feel more hydrated than usual, and they even looked less shiny. The texture is great though and super lightweight. I received the product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.
