Love this product!

I love the way this product makes my hair feel and smell! I would highly recommend if you’re looking for an affordable and accessible bond repair treatment.

Hair looks shiny, smooth and strong

The packing is bright and gives perfect look. After using this pre shampoo treatment and leaving it on for 5-10 minutes as per instructions, my hairs looks more healthy and shiny following hair wash. This pre shampoo has dual action repair bond which is great for damaged hairs to cure them and give healthy looks. It helped my hairs to give shine, extra protection to my damaged hairs and even more stronger. Other bonus point is that its parabeen and sulphate free. I will be regularly using this before doing shampoo wash to my hairs and hopefully it will chnage my hairs look more shiny and soft.

Results after 1 use!

I was very skeptical about whether this product would work or not. First of all, my hair is medium type, wavy, heat treated almost everyday, not chemically treated (colored or perm). Overall, my hair healthy is a little on the drier side lately.

This product requires to sit in your hair for 5-10 minutes so I decided to do it before I shower. It would probably need less product if your hair was damp. I used a total of 2.5 pumps/toonie sized dallops for my entire head.

The product smelled really good in the bottle. It does give off a different smell while it's reacting with your hair and oil.

As I wash my hair, I didn't feel a difference. Maybe just slightly smoother. It wasn't grabbing or as dry as normal. After I towel dryed my hair, I noticed there was a shine and softness to it, not significant, but it was noticeable better then usual!

When my hair was completely dry, it was softer, and felt more hydrated! I'm a believer!

I will be using this weekly and see if it makes a significant change to my hair health! I was very happy with the results after 1 use!! Definitely a 5/5!

Great product

I really enjoy using this product. It’s easy to apply, doesn’t have to be left on for too long and it works to heal my hair. It’s easy to rinse out and I absolutely love the smell. It makes my hair smooth.

whatever it's doing- it's working

Tried the OGX Bond Repair line for my damaged hair, and honestly, it's pretty good. My hair's noticeably shinier, stronger, and less frizzy. I don't know about the whole "bond rebuilding" thing, but it feels healthier. Plus, no parabens or sulfates, which is a bonus. It's not a miracle cure, but it definitely improved my hair's condition, especially with daily use. Worth a try if your hair's feeling fried.

Restore, Repair, Rejoice!

I jumped at Butterly's® offer to test and review OGX® Bond Protein Repair Pre-Shampoo product, and the free bottle couldn't have arrived at a more suitable time (March 31st), because I had plans to highlight my hair later that week! My tresses have been damaged by bleach over the past year, and I needed to ensure that my hair was well hydrated and in its best possible condition BEFORE the intended bleach/20 and 10 volume developer touched the processed and virgin areas my hair. At twice the size of John Frieda's pre-shampoo bond repair product, and having received the OGX product as a complimentary, retail-sized sample (reg. $14.99 CDN at Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada), I could afford to be a bit more generous with use of this product. It did NOT disappoint!

First impressions: I appreciate the generous size, 250 ml bottle. The soft, floral fragrance is pleasant (not overly pungent), and thick, creamy texture was easy to distribute in my dry hair. Per the instructions, I left it in for 10 minutes, and followed with my regular shampoo and conditioner. My hair immediately felt smoother and softer, without being weighed down. I have since added a teaspoon to my bleach/peroxide mix when processing my hair (hoping to protect it during the bleaching process) and used it again today (five days post-bleach) prior to shampooing. It did not compromise the effectiveness of the bleach during processing, and though I did experience a very slight "chemical haircut" over the weekend, the damage is minimal. I will continue to use this product, but wish I could have tried the entire SYSTEM for a more comprehensive review of the bond repair range. For now, my hair is visibly smoother, seemingly in decent condition post-bleaching, and I've not noticed any further breakage, fracturing, nor excessive dryness. A winner for those on a budget.

Noticed more softness

I received this product free for testing purposes. I have very damaged and dry hair I applied this pre wash and conditioner left on for about 10 mins on dry hair making sure to saturate the ends and where I have the most breakage. It glides on well a little product will go a long way . It did improve the softness of my hair and my hair did appear less frizzy and more sleek .

Softens my hait
