Not worth it
I would skip trying this product.. the oil felt heavy even though I have very thick hair. It did not feel hydrating, it felt more greasy than anything. Definitely the opposite of what it claims
This made my hair so heavy and sticky
This serum was so thick and sticky, I could feel it in my hair after blowdrying. I have been using hair oils and serums for years so I am not new to this, I don’t feel like it was user error. However, I assumed that perhaps I used too much of it the first time, so I tried several times, each time using less and less product but I continued to feel like I could feel it in my hair afterward. I’m not a fan, and I wanted to be!
Not for fine hair
I think this would be great for thicker hair however it weighed down my fine hair and made it tangled. I had high hopes and it just didn't work for me.
Strong scent, limited effectiveness
I gave this some time because I wanted to like it, but tbh I am not a fan. It is intended to revitalize and "repair bonds" in damaged hair. I didn't see much difference after a couple weeks of use (2x a week as directed), and the fragrance, while not unpleasant, is way too strong for me. My hair is midlength now and not too damaged so maybe it would be more effective on hair that is more fragile. I know when I have longer hair I get split ends and perhaps it would help with that. Overall, for now, this is not for me.
Smells Awful
I recieved OGX Bond Protein Repair Sealing Serum in exchange for my honest opinion. This repair serum is not anything to write home about. I have used it for a week with my regular hair routine and really didn't see a difference. The worst part of this product was the overwhelming chemical like smell which is definitely not something you want to smell all day long. I would not recommend this product.
Smells great, can't see results yet...
Of all the 3 sample products I was given to test, OGX's repair serum was probably the one I resonated the least with. I gave it a shot and tried it out 2-3 times after a shower and ran it through my wet/damp hair a few times with my fingertips. While it smells just as good as the rest of the line, I didn't see any dramatic differences with my hair. Perhaps after a couple of months, I could see a difference, but it was too short a sample window span to see noticeable differences.
Didn’t notice any difference
I used the serum along with the shampoo and from the same line. Unfortunately I didn’t notice any difference using the serum. The gel texture felt a little sticky when applying on dry hair, It was fine on damp hair though. I with the serum brought a little more shine to the hair. Overall my hair didn’t feel more smooth or soft after using this product specifically. I haven’t used it long enough to see a difference on damaged hair.
I didn't like how it feels on my hair
I tried this serum from ogx, honestly it felt nothing but sticky feeling on my hair without hydrating it. It smells nice and texture is heavy, but maybe the type of my hair wasn't right or the product itself isn't effective.
Great product
a good shampoo are fairly obvious. A shampoo should clean away the oil and dirt, rinse out easily, and leave A shine to your hair . This is one of them
