A little drying

The product is drying so beware of that. Maybe a bit too much for teen mild acne. It can also discolour your pillow cases if not completely dry before laying down.

Made my skin dry and irritated

It made my skin dry and irritated. That might be my skin type but it might be the product I’m not really sure. I still recommend the product if you don’t have sensitive skin

Best of both worlds

I received this product free from Butterly in exchange from my honest review. I’ve had the pleasure of using this PanOxyl acne wash for face and body for the last two weeks. It starts in a thick . Cream like consistency which is SO easy to control when using as a bodywash. No one wants to waste half the product down the drain. I suggest if you suffer from acne in your back to condition hair throughly, rinsing your back aswell to remove and pore clogging conditioner and following up with PanOxyl’s face and body wash. It lathers into a smooth and bubbly foam that cleanses skin with the added benefits of the medical ingredient Benzoyl peroxide 4% which can helps to eliminate current breakouts and keep them from forming. This is also great as a face wash, it cleans well without stripping the skin. Be sure to follow the directions on the label. No need to use it everyday ! The potent ingredients included to kill acne bacteria are perfectly complemented by the nourishing and hydrating ingredients. This not only works against acne but it can help to unclog and minimize the appearance of pores and is free of Fragrance!!

Dried out my skin

I tried the product and found that it dried out my skin. No matter the length of time that it was left on my skin. I did notice that it was working well on areas that had blemishes. I did however have to use other products to combat the dry skin that i now have been dealing with. If you have skin that doesn't dry out easily or you are willing to use extra moisturizer for your face, go for it!

PanOxyl Acne Wash

PanOxyl provides an easy-to-use squeeze container to control how much to use.
The aroma is not too offensive to the nares.
The product lathers up and spreads evenly over the skin, washes off okay.
There was a little stickiness on the skin after drying.
The effectiveness of the product did not help nor hinder skin issues, compared to other products.

Cleared My Acne, Dried My Skin — Still Worth It!

This wash definitely helps with my acne. It was a little drying but nothing that some moisturizer afterward. any fix. I learned I need to use it every other day for my skin type.

It’s made with 4% Benzoyl Peroxide that fights acne causing bacteria but, still leaves the skin moisturized and soft. I was pleasantly surprised that even though it’s a cream based cleanser, it lathered and foamed really well. It does need to be used for a significant amount of time to notice results but, once it is used long term it tends to provide acne clearance and moisturizing properties.

Just so-so for me!! Might work better for others

I got this PanOxyl 4% Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Wash at the perfect time - right when I had a breakout. I've only had a week to try it out, so I'm not sure how effective it is yet. The product applies smoothly and rinses off easily, with no strong scent. My skin didn't feel dry or irritated, which is a good sign. However, when rinsing, my face felt slightly oily.

With such a short testing period, I haven't seen significant improvements yet. I'll keep using it and might update this review later if I notice any changes. So far, it's a gentle cleanser that might work well for those with sensitive skin.
