I have a couple boxes of these pencils. As an artist, I never pass up a deal on pencils if they are a basic #2 HB Pencil which these are. They are just a simple, classic pencil for work, school, drawing, writing. They sharpen decent and I have not had many broken tips. I use them also for my graph paper sometimes when drawing out new patterns for my cross stitching. However, the pink eraser on the end just smudges and doesn't erase very well. I always have a separate eraser anyway. Also, the pencil tip is quite thick even if you sharpen it right up. The lead can also smudge even though it is a #2B

I only ever buy these if they are on super sale. Always go through pencils like crazy. But, not my in my top 5 picks for a pencil that's for sure.
