Odd smell but great product !

I received the peace out dark spots serum from @butterly for free to review.
I’ve been using this product for about a week now. I’ve been putting the serum in the morning and at night after cleansing my face. I’m really enjoying it. It does not dry my skin and it absorbs quickly. The serum has a lotion like consistency however the smell of it is a bit odd. I can see a difference in my skin so I am really happy with the product.

Great! Needs time to experience full results.

Today I am reviewing @peaceoutskincare Dark Spots Serum kindly gifted to me by @thisisbutterly for my honest review.

💬 PRODUCT DETAIL: It is a supercharged serum that combines a potent blends of AHA and active ingredients to target hyperpigmentation for next level improvement in appearance of dark spots.

💬 KEY INGREDIENTS: Tranexamic Acid, Kojic Acid, AHA'S and Alpha Arbutin.

💬 THOUGHTS AND EXPERIENCE: I enjoyed the product's texture, it is lightweight and balmy providing the skin with hydration. During application it absorbs very well into the skin and after application it leaves the skin hydrated without looking greasy or oily. I have been using this product for about a week now once a day at night and I have not fully experienced a brightening result but I noticed that my skin became more radiant since use. I noticed that the pores around my nose became smaller which helped with oiliness.

Overall, I have heard that this products needs to be tried for as long as 2 months to experience full results. So I will keep on trying out this product and update you guys again on it. I recommend this product to all skin types.

Definitely Brightens

I love the ingredients of this product; the AHA'S, Alpha Arbutin and Kojic Acid. The clean ingredients and vegan formula also is a plus since I know I'm putting good ingredients on my skin. I have sensitive skin but this was a gentle formula that didn't irritate my skin. It's a gel consistency and it absorbed into my skin really well, there wasn't any piling. After using this product 3-4 times a week, I've seen my overall skintone brighten and a reduce in my skin texture. As for my dark spots, I have seen them starting to get lighter but will need to use it for a longer period of time for better results. The only downside of this product is the scent. The scent is very strong and is their when you apply the product and lingers afterwards. It's a very strong chemical smell and if you are sensitive to it than be aware of it in this product. Overall, I'm enjoying the product and will continue using.

Brighter skin!

I had my son three years ago and developed melasma which did not go away after my pregnancy. So now I have dark spots and uneven skin tone which I would love to get rid of.
I’ve been trying Peace Out dark spots serum. It has kojic acid, alpha-arbutrin and concentrated AHAs to help reduce dark spots and brighten skin tone.
During my time trying this, I definitely noticed my skin was brighter all over my face. That’s what I loved most about this serum. I didn’t find it drying although I am used to using similar products as a part of my daily skincare routine. I made sure I put on a good facial SPF moisturizer while using this. I haven’t noticed a change in my dark spots yet, some of these products take a little while to make a difference as my melasma is so severe. It does seem gentle on the skin and I’ve seen some benefits so I’m going to give it a some more time as I’ve only been using for a short period.

It takes some getting used to

Peace Out Dark Spots Serum contains Kojic Acid, Alpha-Arbutin and a blend of AHAs to help minimize dark spots and hyperpigmentation, brighten skin and improve skin tone and texture.

This serum is suitable for sensitive skin, however I had to start off using this twice a week and work up to every other day. At first it did cause some irritation, but once my skin became accustomed to it, there was only the slightest tingle just after applying it and it disappeared after I applied moisturizer.

I was not a fan of the smell, but it did dissipate fairly quickly after applying the serum.

It left my skin feeling softer and more even in texture. It did brighten my skin, but I didn't notice a real difference in my sun spots after just a few weeks.

Overall, this serum has a positive effect on my skin and I expect more visible results with continued use.

Good for lighten acne spots and evening out skin

I have been using The Peace out Dark spot serum for sometime now I have noticed my acne spots have gotten lighter, 1 pump is good enough and I have only been using it once a day usually in the morning for over 1 week now it has lightened some acne spots and also evened out my skin tone and it may also cause some sensitivity but remember to apply moisturizer and sunscreen (SPF )in the morning but it will take some time to get rid of the spots, Also I wasn’t a fan of the Scent. As someone who struggles with dark spots, I was able to use this product for a week and noticed some changes! Although not super significant, my skin did feel brighter overall! I will definitely update this once I try it out longer and share any significant results!

❌ Not for instant results (like most products, this product will take time, don’t expect the spots to instantly disappear😂)

I was super satisfied with the results and I look forward to using this longer! I definitely do recommend this for anyone struggling with dark spots like me!

Great on sensitive skin, but what is that smell?

I have used this serum a few times over the last 2 weeks (I have rosacea and sensitive skin, so I didn't want to irritate my skin by using it too much). So far, I think it's great! I think it's effective and feels good and it doesn't feel drying. I didn't think that I would like it because of my sensitive skin, but I am pleasantly surprised! It doesn't irritate at all! I have only been applying a few drops to my dark spots, and I am starting to notice a small difference even after such a small period of time. I do have to point out though, the smell is a bit off putting. It does make the product seem more genuine because those ingredients are working wonders- but those ingredients don't smell great. The smell stays on your face for a while but it's gone after 30 or so minutes. Overall, great product!

Brightens skin

After a week of use, this product worked well to brighten my skin. My overall complexion was brighter and more even toned however my pesky dark spots were still present. I am looking forward to trying this product for a longer time to see if the dark spots will lighten over time.

I love that this product is vegan and specifically formulated to lighten or get rid of dark spots. I have fairly sensitive skin so I tried using this once a day for the last 5 or so days. I have noticed a slight improvement in some sun spots. It does tingle when you put on so I was very worried that I would have a reaction but so far my skin has been fine. I’m hoping with continued use I will see more of an improvement
The scent is strange, I found it very of putting the first time I used it but have adjusted to it and want to give it a chance to work even though I don’t love the smell.
