Awful!

I would not recommend this soap to anyone with super sensitive skin. I personally purchased the orange bars because it said it was for sensitive skin (which I have), and it irritated my skin like crazy. It left my skin dry and very red and hot.The scent especially put me off as it stunk like tea-tree oil. I discarded ASAP & replaced it with a different soap that works 100x better.

Squeaky clean

When I use Pears soap, my face feels squeaky clean. There is no residue and it is not drying for my skin. It has a lovely, unique scent. The cost is very reasonable.

Gentle soap is gentle

Been using this stuff for years. It's washed hard to get make up off and still gentle enough to clean brand new piercings. I love it because it doesn't leave any filmy feeling on my skin and my sensitive skinned husband loves it because it doesn't leave him feeling itchy.

Best facial soap!!

I have been using this soap for 15 years and I love it. Everyone in my family uses it too. It clears the face off acne and leaves it smooth and clean. Would definitely recommend it to my friends and others.

Made my skin super dry

my family loves this soap but i find that it makes my skin SUPER dry and is very harsh. it is really cute but it dosent have a good scent and leaves my skin flaky and dull.

Back to the bar

I used Pears transparent soap my entire life, up until my early 20's when I started to.trial other face cleansers. I have recently gone full circle and tried Pears again. I use it at night to remove makeup and get a squeaky clean feeling. I love the scent, so reminiscent of my childhood and teen years. It makes my face feel clean and fresh. I like having a bar in my shower so that I can get back to basics when I want. I know it's pure and contains no chemicals that so many of today's cleansers do. And the handiness of a bar means it lasts a long, long time and is very economically priced. A forgotten brand that should be investigated by todays beauty gurus. Simple and fantastic. I love that I have rediscovered Pears.

Amazing results...

I just bought the pears bar soap a few weeks ago at superstore. Its kind of transparent with brown color. It has a balm like smell, that may be bothering for some people.I use it my face only. My face feels clean and refreshed after using this. And a really positive point of this soap is that it helps to reduce the pore size on my facial skin, as i have enlarged pores on my cheeks due to oily skin.

Amazing soap! When you really need a good scrub down!

This soap smells great! Some people might be thrown off by it, but you will get used to it quick. And trust me it is worth it. Smells so clean and I feel it takes layers of old soap off. It's wonderful!

The best soap for your face and body for acne prone skin

This is such a great product! I used to think bars of soap were for little old ladies and men. This product has changed my life when it comes to acne. And it is super affordable also! It works great as a daily cleanser to remove oil from your face and at the same time does not dry out your face completely. I recommend this product to everyone struggling with acne.

Also it has been around since 1807! Pretty neat. If they ever discontinue it I will be so heartbroken.

I have bought this product again, and will continue to do so

I had really bad acne but since starting to use this product twice a day, it has really cleared up my skin. It makes my skin brighter and softer. I would recommend anyone to use this, regardless of their skin type. It definitely works wonders on acne prone skin
