Effective but the taste is not the favorite
We’ve been using PediaFer™ Iron Supplement for our 18 months son, and while it works well, he doesn’t like the taste. Even though it’s lemon-flavoured, to him it tastes more like lime or something sour, and giving it is a bit of a struggle. That said, it seems gentle on his stomach and he hasn’t had any side effects. It’s a good product overall, just be aware that some babies may not like the taste.
Iron Deficiency
Iron deficiency runs in the family and I was so excited to receive an iron deficiency preventative. I have been adding PediaFer to my daughter's drinks and soft foods and the flavour (lemon) is unnoticed until one day I gave it to her orally and her facial reaction showed the dislike of the sourness.
A nice way to subtly add iron to my toddlers diet!
I am able to subtly add this to her orange juice and it went undetected which is the goal! She wouldn’t take it on its own but it was very easy to just toss in her juice which makes it easy!
Great product with great taste
Very easy to use and tastes great and my daughter loved it. It has made a real difference in her health also my doctor has said that her iron levels have gone up and she is acting a lot better since starting this medication. We will be using this from now on since she loves the taste and it's very easy to use with the dropper included
Best Iron administration
I found these iron drops to be the easiest administration with my child! Minimal fuss and no spit up! I don't notice much of a obvious health change other than an increase in his appetite. I will continue this supplement for sure!
It's definitely an iron supplement for babies!
Okay, so this one is a bit difficult to judge. There's no immediate changes I can see in my child after giving this to him for a length of time, but perhaps that's one of the things that's supposed to happen, right? You don't want to see any of the low iron symptoms after taking this, so I guess in that way it's a good thing. Taste is.... Not great. It's lemon adjacent for sure, but still a bit rough.
All in all, if you are looking for an iron supplement for your baby, this is a great option
PediaFer Iron supplement
I found PediaFer iron to be a super easy and convenient way to supplement my child daily with iron. In the future I would definitely consider purchasing this product.
Not great, could be better
This predator iron supplement for children 0-3 years old is a ferrous sulfate oral solution that I received for free in exchange for my review. It is good in theory, but my toddler who is going to be 3 years old did not like it at all. The solution is lemon flavoured which smelled like cleaner. My toddler couldn’t stand the taste. The dropper included was great for measuring the dosage. It would be a great addition to my toddlers health if the flavour was different, maybe berry or vanilla.
Easy to use and love the taste
My daughter kept saying she was cold all the time, even indoors, and that made me think her iron might be low. I started giving her iron drops, and I noticed a big difference—she stopped asking for blankets and even started kicking them off because she felt warm again. I’m really happy with how they worked for us and would definitely recommend them, especially for kids who aren’t drinking formula.
Absolutely amazing !!!
My daughter's iron levels were low, and once I started giving her the PediaFer Iron Supplement for babies age 0-3 years it increased to normalcy. Really good supplement, however the taste is another thing. First 2 times, she spat it out. I then added to sippy cup with 1/3 cup of juice, and worked like a charm. Excellent product. Would highly recommend.
