Pedia Iron Supplement
Pedia Iron Supplement
Lemon flavored ferrous sulfate oral solution that can be mixed with food. It contains 15mg/ml of elemental iron. My toddler doesn't like it whether it's mixed with juice or food. I tried it my itself & it is very strong so I'm not surprised. I think that if it's in a gummy formula then it would be more kids friendly.
I received this free from Butterly.
Sadly wasn’t a hit for us
I really hoped it would’ve worked for my daughter but she really was not a fan of it. She normally has no problem taking supplements, cough sirop, etc but I guess she just really didn’t like the flavour and would throw a tantrum.
Good product
This is a really good product overall. The taste is really strong and this is what came back from them. Except for it's strong taste, I would recommend this product.
My newborn did not like
Received this as part of a testing campaign. My toddler and newborn did not like the taste so we stopped trying to give it to them. I like the idea of it and think it could be beneficial if doctor recommends.
Not great
Received this product in exchange for my honest review and honestly it’s not good it taste and smells disgusting the baby refuses to take it and even myself I couldn’t handle the taste this is a big no do us
Pediafer iron
Easy dropper included. I wish there was more information provided in a pamphlet...why you'd use it, contraindications, ingredient breakdown.
My child didn't like the flavour on its own, smells synthetic like lemon/lim Gatorade.
I couldn't force myself to like this one...
So, for starters, I will say these drops worked. They brought up iron intake as promised.
However, the smell of the product and the taste were absolutely horrendous. I wouldn't give this to my dog.
Not to mention, the product has stained my child's teeth, clothing and bedsheets. There are much better ways to take in iron; will not be purchasing or recommending this product.
I received this product for free from Butterly in exchange for my honest review.
Tastes awful
Unfortunately, these won’t be added to our regular supplements. Although the packaging indicates a lemon flavor, there was no lemon taste at all. My kids (ages 2 and 3) said they tasted awful, so I tried them myself and nearly threw up from the taste. While they may be effective, the flavor makes them very difficult to take, especially for young children.
Lemon Taste not good
My child didn’t like the taste of the product, she cried once it touched her mouth and tried spitting it up. She loves Banana, strawberry but not lemon. With this in mind it made her not have a good experience.
Can’t stand the taste
Really wanted to like the product because iron is so important. However, I gave some to my toddler and he was really grossed out by the taste - he kept saying yuck for several minutes and had to drink water to try and wash his mouth. I tried it too and found the aftertaste to be awful and lasted a while in my mouth.
