Excellent product

It smells bad and by my babies reaction he didn't like the taste. It's easy to deliver it with the dropper. I saw an improvement of energy and jaundice levels go down. The bottle is small. Baby has more energy and eating better.

Helpful for babies

I think iron supplements are important for babies who do not get a variety of foods and are picky eaters. I tried giving this to my 1 year old and he would only take a bit. I think the lemon flavour was too strong for him so I'll have to find another way to give it to him

Tastes good!

PediaFer is an iron supplement for kids. It is a liquid and is lemon flavoured. Being a liquid, it was easy to give to my kids, I just added it in with their food and/or drinks when they were eating and they seemed to enjoy the lemon flavour. My only complaint about this product is that it can cause darkening of the teeth, as most iron supplements do, so it's definitely not alone in this feature. Other then that, I think this is a great product for anyone looking to get a little more iron into your child's diet easily and without the medicine taste. The bottle even comes with its own dropper to measure it so it's super easy to dispense. Give it a try!

Great iron for babies

Use iron supplement to help him develop better as he is very picky at food, and does not take much meat and green veggies. The dose is suitable for babies. And I trust this brand as I used d3 for this brand as well. When I put it in drink, the baby does not like it, so hv to use it separately. And it's a bit difficult to have him take it.

Very easy to administer

This has been super easy to administer to my children. I like the clear instructions on the amount to give and the dropper format. It has a very strong taste so it needs to be given with food and water. It has improved their iron intake as food is not always enough. It helps me feel confident knowing my children are receiving more iron.

Great Iron Supplement for baby!

This iron supplement tastes less metallic, making them easier for my baby to accept it. This liquid drops format is easy to use. The dropper also provides the measurement. it really help to control each dose. Highly recommended!

Decent product

This is a good product. Ferrous sulfate is the best iron salt to give infants and the lemon taste is decent. Iron itself doesn’t taste great so it’s great to have the flavour option on the market. I would recommend adding to orange juice. My only issue is with the dosing. It says infants 0-12 months should get 1mL which is 15mg. This is a huge dose particularly for infants less than 6 months. My recommendation would be 0.5mls for less than 6 months or chat with your doctor or pharmacist for a weight based dosing recommendation.

Ensures your child gets the iron they need.

After a couple of weeks of my 4 month old being irritable, more tired than usual , thinking it may be a cold virus, we saw our pediatrician. She said it was more likely iron deficiency based on my babies symptoms and diet. Since my child is a fussy eater it is difficult to ensure he gets enough iron through diet alone. Using Pediafer has been a great help, symptoms improved in about 5 days. Pediafer can be taken straight from the dropper or mixed into food. The taste is citrusy but I noticed a slight metalic after taste. Pediafer has improved my baby's health and my peace of mind.

Convenient and Effective!

The best part about this iron supplement is the dropper. Not only is it easier to measure, but it becomes the cap after using it.
It has a good locking system too, so I don't have to worry about my kid opening it when I'm not around and any accidents that way.
Coming to the actual product, it does a great job of meeting the daily iron needs of my kid in a single dropper. The taste I guess takes some getting used too, but my kid loves lemons and the lemony flavor was a hit.
Just need about 1 ml daily and it helps maintain the iron needs and health of my kid in the easiest way.
The best part is it is easy to use by mixing it with food, in a liquid or on its own.
I gave it 4 stars on 5 just because I'm not sure how effective it is compared to other iron products for kids.
My kid used to have darker stools with other similar products and there is no clear indicator with this one so I'm not too sure about the level or extent of absorption.
Other than that, it's an amazing product at all other levels.
