I received the PediaFer™ Iron Supplement for babies age 0-3 years for free from Butterly in exchange for an honest review. First off I thought the lemon flavor was an odd choice as lemon is sour. My 3 year old backed up that belief. He tried one millimeter and instantly said ok put it back. He definitely didn't want to try again. The supplement smelt strongly of lemon, but a finger taste test proves it taste likes pennies with a hint of lemon. You can definitely tell it's iron. So we put the second millimeter in his breakfast smoothie and he happily drank it. His energy was more level throughout the day and I feel it definitely helps with a little boy who doesn't like meat yet. I would purchase it again, but it's definitely a mix into something kind of supplement

The product is super easy to take and I really appreciate that they have a dropper to administer the vitamin. It has a lemon flavour that’s easy to mix into drinks like smoothies.

The supplement was easy to sharew ith a little one especially because of the flavour. There were no issues with the little wanting to give the product a try. As someone that struggles with Iron intake - this is an excellent solution.

It’s a great product. I didn’t notice any discomfort when I gave it to my child. I feel it’s like a great supplement to get healthy iron levels. Dropper makes it very easy to use and measure

Great iron supplement

I started giving PediaFer to my 2-year-old son after his pediatrician found his iron levels were low. The liquid formula with a dropper made dosing easy and accurate, which was reassuring. The lemon flavor helped somewhat, but like most toddlers, my son could tell it was medicine. Some days he took it without a problem, especially when mixed with juice or yogurt, while other days he resisted. Keeping it part of the same daily routine made a big difference, and after about a week it became easier.
We did notice mild constipation, which we managed by increasing his water and fiber intake. One thing that initially worried me was his dark stools, but I learned this is a normal and harmless side effect of iron. Thankfully, we didn’t experience vomiting or significant stomach upset.
After a few weeks, I noticed positive changes—more energy, less paleness—and follow-up bloodwork showed his iron levels were improving. Overall, PediaFer was a practical and effective iron supplement. While taste and mild side effects can be challenges, with patience and consistency it did what we needed it to do.

PediaFer is a great supplement especially for breastfed baby. The applicator is easy to use, love that the numbers for ml are clear and easy to determine how much to give. It is lemon flavour/scent. Easy to use and give.

PediaFer Iron Supplement in lemon flavour is supposed to help with maintaining good health and preventing iron deficiency in children ages 0-3. The taste was not the worst but I can tell my little one was hesitant to take it at first, and has now gotten used to it. I especially love the dropper to help with easy administration and no mess, in addition to no dyes. I can’t tell just yet the impact it’s had on my little one but hope to find out after long term use. I look forward to discovering more products from PediaVit. Very easy to use

I have a 2 years old daughter. This is very easy to use as it comes with a dropper. No mess and lemon flavour for taste. Highly recommended. Easy to carry.
