Good Iron Support, but strong Iron taste

I gave the PediaFer Iron Supplement to my baby during the day, and while I understand the importance of iron supplementation, the taste was a challenge. Despite being lemon flavoured, it tastes very much like iron, and my baby often rejects it. Because of that, I usually have to give it in two attempts to make sure she gets the full measured dose. The dropper is helpful for measuring, but administering it can be tricky when a baby resists. Overall, it feels like a well-formulated product for iron support, but parents should be prepared for the strong iron taste and the extra patience needed during feeding.

Perfect travel size for my infant

I wish there was an unflavoured option for kids that don't do so well with different flavours, but it works nonetheless!! I seen an improvement in a couple days.

Amazing iron supplement for babies

PediaFer is easy to use and comes with a convenient dropper for accurate dosing. My baby tolerated it well with no issues, and the packaging feels clean and reliable. It gave me peace of mind knowing it’s made specifically for babies and commonly used in Canada. Would recommend to other parents following their doctor’s advice.

Acceptable but still need more work to be done!

I received this product for free from Butterly. While it doesn’t taste great and causes baby gagging, it’s significantly better than other options. Even with disposable 1ml syringes, which would make administration much easier, be aware that it left a dark stain that wouldn’t come out no matter what I tried.

It works

This totally help with my baby iron levels and I notice she was more alert and not so tired looking. I would say it did make a positive difference in my child and I would buy it

It works!

At first my baby wasn't a huge fan of the taste and did gag a bit- but he eventually got used to it and it’s much better than the other options which are like intense cough syrup. This was a great alternative to a few other brands I researched, some that even have alcohol in them! Avoid those.

Good product

Good product, easy to use. The dropper makes it so easy to put directly in a toddlers juice or water or even directly in their mouth. Doesn't have a funky smell like other vitamins.

Great Iron Supplement for Breastfed Babies

My baby girl is exclusively breastfed and has now started solids. Due to breast milk not containing iron, it is recommended for her consume high iron foods. I like the idea of using this supplement because it guarantees that she gets her daily required intake. I love that the formula does not have a bunch of unnecessary fillers either. It’s lemon flavoured and does have a slight scent, but nothing that bothers her. The included dropper makes it very easy to measure, and I mix it into her purees and she takes it no problem!
