We are not primarily plant based so honestly wasn’t sure but turns out we loved these as a fun change from chips plus with protein they are much better fit for hangry snackers. Crispy crunchy and full of flavour the sour cream were hands down the fam fav & disappeared quickly. You know it’s a hit when the kids start portioning them out so no one gets more than someone else! Resealable bags are also a handy touch so they don’t end up all over your bag or car. We recommend the larger size bag cuz you will have to share :)

Great alternative to chips!

It’s so easy to eat and it doesn’t leave grease on my fingers! I just hope that it’s more flavorful since I love sour cream and onion. I like to bring it to work since it’s like a ziplock kind of packaging!

Jack'D Up: Sour Cream and Onion is a very yummy snack for any occassion. This is not spicy at all so my kids can eat it too. It's puffy and crispy. It's a much healthier option than potato chips.

Fun delicious bites

Jack'D Up: Sour Cream and Onion is a delicious vegan snack to enjoy for any occasion. I like that it comes sugar and gluten free, rich in fibre and you do not feel guilty eating the whole back of these treats. Life is busy and sometimes we get our proteins from yummy snacks. I like the size of the bag, convenient and not big, at work, at home when out or commuting. They taste fresh and satisfying in comparison to salty potato chips, and I do not get any aftertaste or stomach irritation. It is filled with natural flavours and vegan proteins, that's why they have a pleasant and inviting taste. Kids like the round bite shape to snack and I think we need to stock up on them for our adventures along with other flavours!

I would buy these again and again!

These jackfruit protein bites are such a fun twist on a classic snack. I tried the ketchup, sour cream & onion, and jalapeño flavours, and honestly each one had its own personality. The ketchup was bold and a little surprisingly spicy, the sour cream & onion was super savoury and addictive, and the jalapeño had just the right kick without being overwhelming. I also love that they’re made with better-for-you ingredients and still feel like a treat. Even my toddler was reaching for them, which says a lot! Perfect for quick snacking, lunchboxes, or something crunchy by the pool.

Crunchy treat that even keto can eat

My family is keto so finding a snack that satisfies the craving of chips can be hard. Now these aren't the ultimate keto snack they are still a but high i carbs but a whole bag is 19g or 16 adjusted and pack 10g of protien so definitely a do-able keto treat.

Great crunch, strong taste

The crunch and texture were excellent, and I appreciate the higher protein content compared to traditional chips. However, the flavoring was just too intense for my taste. I’m someone who normally loves bold, heavily seasoned snacks, but these felt overpowering and a bit artificial in their intensity.

The ingredient list is relatively simple compared to many snack foods, but there are still some processed flavoring ingredients that may contribute to the strong taste. Overall, they’re a decent high-protein alternative to chips, but I would personally prefer a more balanced flavor profile.

Crispy, Tangy, and Savoury Protein Bites

The Sour Cream & Onion flavour was my favourite as it had a nice blend of tangy sour cream and savoury onion flavour. I find that these crispy and crunchy ready-to-eat protein bites are much better and healthier options than regular potato chips because they are free of cholesterol, rich in fibre, zero trans fat, soy, gluten, sugar and sulphite free. Each 50g serving contains 13g of protein. I brought this bag of snack with me to work to satisfy my snack cravings, and the resealable bag make it very convenient to enjoy on the go.

Bites full of flavour!

Crunchy and satisfying
