Okay, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first tried jackfruit kebabs—like, how can fruit taste like meat? But honestly they’re so good! The texture is super close to pulled meat, and the spices give it that proper kebab vibe. I just heated them up in a pan and threw them in a wrap with some chutney—chef’s kiss best part? It didn’t feel heavy or greasy like regular kebabs. I felt full but not bloated. Perfect for when you want something tasty and different but still kind of healthy.
If you’re trying to cut down on meat or just want to try something new, these are totally worth it!

Best plant based kebab

@plantropylife has created a vegan, flavorful jackfruit kebab. They are full of spices,smoky, and tastes similar to any kind of ground meat. They are super quick to make perfect for busy evenings. I cooked them on BBQ, and they turned out crisp and yummy. It was hit dinner in my family last night. You can eat it with rice, wraps, or alone as well. I paired it with yogurt and mint dip. I love that it's cholesterol free, glutne free, and high in fiber. My family loves them.
I'm definitely buying them again . Highly recommended.

Cant believe this is Vegan

Grilled this great and yum jackfruit kebabs and it was delicious! Has a slight hint of spice perfect for my taste bud. My meat eating family also loved it! Even my baby girl tried and approved it. So definitely worth the try.. doesnt have any smell from jackfruit and that is the win for me!

They can be found in the frozen section of many grocery stores including Real Canadian Superstores

These kebabs were so easy to make and tasted delicious. It had a lot of flavour and the perfect consistency. I pan fried mine but you can cook it, fry it, use as a side, BBQ it, put it on a pizza or a pita! It’s very versatile.

Pleasantly surprised

I had to go to the next town over to get Plantropy's jackfruit kabobs because they were sold out! You can find them at Superstore, Your Independent or Zehrs. These are the healthiest kabobs I've ever tried. I am a meat person, I love to eat meat! So I was little hesitant about trying these plant-based kabobs, but they tasted great! I was pleasantly surprised! Spiced perfectly, quick to cook up, easy on-the-go meal, and packed with fiber! Don't have to worry about trans fats, sugars or sulphites. Perfect for my wellness routine.

Gone are the days of boring stir fry’s. Kick your stir fry up a notch with Plantrophy jack fruit kebabs. Jack fruit is an amazing way to make your favourite meat dishes vegan style. These Jack fruit kebabs can be sauced, tossed and made any way you like it. I enjoyed my Plantrophy kebab’s sliced up and tossed in a ginger pineapple stir fry sauce and included my favourite veggies in the mix. The lettuce boats I placed my stir fry’d kebabs on were the perfect compliment to the sweet and spicy flavour. The kebabs had a light flavour and I couldn’t tell that the kebabs were even mixed in. If you looking for a healthy alternative to your meat dishes aka vegan style, Plantrophy kebabs are the way to go!

I never tried pepperoni before but as it’s vegan I got the chance to try it and my father also liked it. We will be using it on regular basis. Next time I am planning to get kababs as this time I couldn’t get them.

Flavourful vegan kebob

This meatless kebob tasted so good! First off, the texture was nice and chewy. It was super moist as well. The flavour was killer! Tasted well seasoned. You could smell the spices as soon as you opened the package. It was also super quick to prepare. I’ll most likely be buying this again!

I picked up these Jackfruit Kebabs by @plantropylife (in collab with Butterly) and tried it out for dinner tonight!

We aren't usually in search of meat alternatives but it's really nice to have the option once in a while, just to see what's out there.

These are soy free, with no artificial flavors, no added sugars, gluten free, are cholesterol free, whole plant based, high in fibre, and made of jackfruit.

These were super easy to cook, we just thawed them out and threw them on the grill for a few minutes. Upon first glance, it doesn't look super appetizing, but once grilled and cooked, it looked like regular kebabs!
The texture was impressive, it totally reminded me of ground meat, and was seasoned and spiced perfectly. This reminded me of East Indian barbequed meats, but not as strong of a flavour so one could definitely change up the flavour with sauces. But there was little bit of a spicy kick that my little ones had a hard time with. Personally I really enjoyed it!
I had a hard time locating these at first, even using the website's product locator, but was able to find these at Your Independent Grocer's in St Albert.

I think my favorite part was that this product was super tasty and didn't taste or feel 'artificial' at all! Not bad at all!
