More Like Jackfruit Tubes

Two stars for quick cooking and a surprisingly meat-like texture. That's where the positives end.. I recieved these Plantropy Jackfruit "Kebabs" expecting, well, kebabs. Instead, I got four hollow tubes of jackfruit meat. Yes, tubes. With large, noticeable holes running through the center. So, be prepared to provide your own skewers.
The packaging is also frustratingly vague. There's zero indication of the flavor profile, which turned out to be a major issue. If you're sensitive to spice, steer clear. These are intensely flavored with a strong masala spice blend. Personally, it was overwhelming and not enjoyable.
While the texture and mouthfeel are commendable for a vegan meat alternative, the lack of actual kebabs, the misleading packaging, and the overpowering spice make this a disappointing product. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're a fan of super spicy food and enjoy assembling your own skewers.
