I have tried this product and I would say that it works well on me. I found that it was a bit tricky the very first time when I opened it and applied it to my skin but afterwards, I had no problem. It hides out the ugly part on my skin and it helps to heal.

I've had cold sores for as long as I can remember. I used to have them as a kid and going to school trying to explain to people what it was difficult and hard on my confidence. Even now as an adult, I work in a public place where I see different people everyday. Having cold sores has always made me self conscious, I used to always lick my lips, or fold them in as a way to mask the cold sore if I seen someone looking at it. I seen a commercial for these a long time ago and didn't believe it. How in the world is it possible to hide a giant red cold sore right smack on your lips?? I eventually got desperate and decide to try them. These cold sore patches are like little pieces of round tape. Its clear so it will blend in with whatever your skin colour may be and its also extremely easy to cover up with makeup. Its like a little sticker you smooth out onto the cold sore, and its main features are that it heals faster, it masks the redness of the cold sore as well as the giant bump, it relieves any pain/tingling/burning the cold sore brings, it prevents it from scabbing over, which usually leads it to cracking and bleeding, and it also helps protect it from contamination. What I normally do is wash my cold sore (With clean hands and not directly with a bar of soap), then I pat it dry with paper towel (Not a bath towel unless its clean and not going to be reused again), and then I smooth out the cold sore patch onto my cold sore making sure its directly in the middle, then I just gently smooth out the sides making sure its secure. My one and only dislike is that sometimes after eating (If its a sandwich or something that touches my lips alot), I have to re apply a new patch because the top of it starts to peel off. But it will always be my go to when I have a cold sore, I would never go back to using medicated creams.

I always keep this handy in my medicine cabinet for that once in a while breakout. You just apply it to your cold sore and I find within a couple of days, the product helps sooth and heal the annoying spot. Would totally recommend it because it is very affordable (cheap) compared to the other brands and is just as effective. I've actually recommended it to my family and friends who tend to also get these unpleasant looking areas around the mouth.

I love this product. It's pretty effective and very easy to apply. Also a great benefit is you can use it under make up unlike creams, and its almost unnoticeable. If this is problem you have often, these come in handy. You can keep the little package with you in your purse for emergencies.

I tried this product awhile ago and didn't like it at all. I found it didn't do as promised. It didn't cut healing time at all and even with makeup over top it was still noticeable.
