Super cute!

My son loves the marvel characters and loves to collect little figurines so this was perfect 👌 I'm gonna go and buy the other sets to go with it 😊 very cute and sturdy! Won't break easily and can move arms and legs around. And also comes with accessories.

Nice for older kids!!

My 4.5-year-old nephew loved playing with this Green Lantern figure—great size and poseable and an extra arm! The detail on it is great aswell, only downside: the colours felt a bit dull to him, and I agree they seem washed out.

Smart

The kids in my household love their action figures.. We received the Green Lantern and they loved it but were a tad confused as why an extra arm came with it. I explained to them when you collect and but the others it builds a separate figure. They thought that was cool but bummed out that we didnt have the rest. I think this is super smart on the toy company’s behalf as it has the children asking for all the other figures now. Im not necessarily mad at that from a business point of view but I can totally see parents being a bit ticked off at this lol. The figure itself is very well made and the kids love that the smaller size can fit in their backpacks and take their little Green Lantern buddy around with them. This concept of collecting the extra pieces is great for collectors and huge DC fans.

Action pretend play

My daughter and son, both young school age, loved adding this figure to their collection. We are a house who love super hero’s, comics and action tv.
Both kids and adults embrace superhero culture, so we have a few play figures around, but no Green Lantern! My partner and I were very excited to see the GL got was the Nathan Fillian figure, with the original Guy Gardner bowl cut, so had to laugh.
This figure was easy to play with, the arms and legs moved easily, and encouraged dramatic play. My son is already asking for more in the series and to see the movie!

Green lantern

My granddaughter loves him! But my oldest son was so excited to see the new green lantern ! I think I have to buy him his own! She plays with him daily . Made very well!

An exciting surprise for my preschooler

The concept of this toy is super neat, my son loves that each package some with a separate piece that creates a whole hero when all of the packages are collected. He has placed his piece in a “safe spot” so that we can start collecting the rest of the heroes. He’s also pretty excited that his first of the collection happens to be the green lantern and has been bringing it around with him on all kinds of adventures. Thank you butterly and spin master for sending us this toy for free to review!

Fun for all ages

As a mother of a young daughter who loves superhero movies and action figures, as well as a family who collects a variety of collectible figures, this was an exciting product to receive.
On first glance what stood out to me was the resemblance to Nathan Fillion, the actor playing Guy Gardner from the new superman movie. Many collectables do not resemble the actors at all, and I was happy with the likeness. The detail is great, it looks like all of the lines are there. I wish there were more points of articulation. The packaging itself is well put together, without using too much plastic, it has a nice fortress of solitude crystal look.
The marketing behind being able to get a collectable for free by collecting all of the robot parts was also a great addition.
One of the disappointments pointed out by my daughter was his ring doesn’t have a backside on his finger. If you look at the palm side of his hand you cannot see he is wearing a ring at all.
We would have liked to see some accessories. His hand is open as though his is meant to hold something.
My daughter pointed out a lantern would have made a great addition, and to top it off would have been even better if it had an embossed area where he could fit his ring into the charge.
Overall we were still happy with the product. The face, the details, the potential to earn an additional toy through collecting were all great. If collecting, or opening to play with, it’s a good additional for any DC enthusiast.

Detailed figurine

My daughter was excited to open up this package when she saw it. She was a bit confused with the extra arm in the package though and thought she would be able to remove the green goblins current arm and replace it with the new arm. So she was trying to pull off the other arm for a while before realising that the extra arm was only if you wanted to build the full superman that you needed to collect. She used her imagination and had this figurine sit in some of her other vehicles. The detail in the figurine is good - the face and jacket/uniform is quite similar to the actual movie. Good collectible if you are a big Super Man fan and plan on collecting all 6 figurines to be able to build the additional figure.

Get ready for Green Lantern!

We are very excited to be given a chance to get to review this DC Studios Superman Green Lantern toy from Spin Master!

Overall, first impression was eye catching packaging! The Green Lantern character himself I found to be rather detailed. However he was not the Green Lantern character I had remembered. I was also confused because this is a Superman Collection, with a picture of Superman on packaging but the figurine is Green Lantern.

The figurine has quality construction, which is great because I know kids can be hard on their toys during play. I also like the incentive of collecting all of the toys in the set to build an additional character.

My boys were very excited for this toy to arrive and have been playing with it for the majority of the afternoon! They did say that they thought if the figurine came with additional accessories that would have been “cool”.
