Would not recommend

I will never try this product again. I have had acne issues until becoming an adult and I believe it's all the meds I'm on. In saying that I think this is the biggest scam going. It actually breaks my face out more and leaves it feeling irritated. Save your money

Proactive?! More like noactive!!!!

I ordered this product thinking it was affective. Just to wate my money on a promising product to clear acne just tp be dissapointed as well as a very uncomforting experience i would wash my face and the product just put my face in flames! And then after the last step had my face dryer then the sand in the mojave desert sheesh! Two thumbs down for me.

Pros: Nicely packaged product.

Cons: I was very excited about using this product as I have acne prone skin. I paid full price for this product and eagerly anticipated the arrival of Proactive. I followed the directions for use as given and never noticed any positive changes in my skin. My face did however break out into a very red, incredibly itchy rash as soon as I began using this product. I was concerned and called their customer service line for suggestions as to what went wrong. The customer adviser suggested I continue using the product for a full 14 days before discontinuing use. I used the product for several more days, however my symptoms worsened. I stopped using product before the 2 weeks was up. This product did not work for me.

So I haven't used proactiv's new formula but the old formula was terrible! It initially helped my acne a little bit but after a couple months of use I started to break out in a huge red rash all over my face! I even had to get cortisone cream to make the rash go away. maybe it works for some people but not me!

I took a chance and ordered a Proactiv kit and used it's directed daily for weeks and it is not worth it. Even with the exfoliating facial cleanser after washing my face still felt like I had dirt in my pores as if I hadn't washed my face at all. I actually think I would prefer dove bar soap to wash my face over this.

I have adult acne and unfortunately this didn't work for me when I was a teen nor does it now. Not keen on the smell.
It doesn't seem to take care of my acne, nor does it add to it - but, I do find it actually enlarges my pores.
For something that doesn't work, I certainly can't have it making me look worse.
However, I do find the Proactive clay mask does work quite well to dry up individual spots. I leave it on overnight.. I don't use it as a mask even though it is called a refining mask. I would buy the clay refining mask again, but it would be costly to use as a mask as it is only a small tube.

I have acne problem for years and tried Proacti since the tv commercial was kind of saying that it was a life changer !!! Well i had better results with 10$ procducts at the drug store. Maybe it work for some people but clearly not for me. waist of money and time.

PRO aCTIVE IS QUICK TO TAKE THE MONEY AND DELIVER PRODUCT. iF THERE IS ANY PROBLEM WITH THE PRODUCT AND THE CONTENT QUESTIONS ARE NOT ANSWERED. E-MAILS TAKE FOREVER. SKIN CARE PRODUCT MAY WORK FOR SOME BUT I FOUND IT BURNING MY SKIN, CAUSED A MAJOR BREAK OUT, NOT PLEASED AT ALL.
