This is the best face cleaning product I have ever used! I think people need to keep in mind that not every system will work the same for everyone. I will say that this is an expensive system, although I think it is worth every penny for beautiful skin.

Step 1 (Cleanse): Contains benzoyl peroxide, I liked the tiny beads in this cleanser/exfoliator, it was pretty creamy, didn't really lather up a lot but that didn't bother me, left my skin feeling very clean and smooth

Step 2 (Tone): Was good at removing anything that didn't wash away in the first step

Step 3 (Treat): Contains benzoyl peroxide, was VERY drying even when used once a day every other day

Refining Mask: Didn't really do a lot to improve my acne, but it also didn't worsen anything

Price: The products lasted a long time for me using them twice a day, so I thought the price was pretty reasonable.

My Experience:
I had been dealing with acne for a long time before I decided to try this product. I used this as directed for about a month and a half, following with a moisturizer after the three steps. For the first 2 weeks my skin got much better - My acne was drying up, pimples were smaller and less red. Shortly after this I was breaking out like crazy, but I kept with it because I've heard your skin can sometimes have a "purging" phase. Unfortunately my skin never got any better after this. It started to become extremely dry. In an attempt to help this I reduced how often I used the third step on recommendation given in the packaging . My skin still continued to get drier, and more red, and the acne was just not improving at all. Eventually I chose to stop because I was worse off than I had been before I'd started using the product. I returned it and had no problems getting my money back because they have a 60 day guarantee.

Bottom line: This product did not work for me, but I do know people who have had success with it. Everyone reacts differently to products so it probably wouldn't hurt to try this.

Took a chance and got it for my teenage son. It made his face so dry and sore. $40 down the drain.

This set did really work for me! I had really bad acne, and I wanted it gone before my wedding last summer! So I picked this up in Edmonton and started using it. Before I knew it my acne was disappearing! However, I did find that it dried out my face... and I found for some reason (thankfully after my wedding!) this started to be less effective... so of course I moved on trying to find the next cure, but this is something I would definitely be tempted to go back to! Also now they have a new proactiv system that I wouldn't mind trying :)

If you do the entire process this product works extremly well. If I get any blemishes I use this product and within a day it is gone. I would use this product more if it was better priced. I would also use more of the line if I could afford the luxury of it. For the price you pay I would have expected larger quantity of the product. If you are on the last straw of finding a product that actually does what it claims, than this product is definately worth it.

I know a lot of people that uses this product and it is really happy. I haven't tried myself except for the refining mask. I was amazed that just in no time I got rid of and awful breakout!

worked amazing on my skin i loved it but the only thing was it dried it out really bad.

I love this product! When I first tried it I noticed I was starting to break out even more but I realized afterwards, hat the cleaner was just bringing everything out. You know the saying
...it has to get worse before it gets better. After I used it I noticed after a week or so my face was starting to clear up a lot better then all the other products I've tried in the past! I'm very satisfied and would totally recommend it to everyone. It is defanitly worth it! :)

This product is truly spectacular, It works wonders and it reasonably priced. I started using this 5 years ago and I havent looked back. Nothing has worked for me the way proactiv does!

Proactiv is amazing it got rid of all my acne I'm so happy it did its good for all skin types man or woman
