I really enjoyed this Pure Leaf Gunpowder Green Tea Loose Long Leaf. I like the new concept of the loose long leaf. I used my tea diffuser in my coffee mug, added a hint of honey and slice of lemon and it was very good.

I was sceptical following the directions to make a cup as it didn't seem like much tea going into my infuser. Buy boy was I wrong after a few minutes and smelling the lovely green tea aroma I couldn't believe how such long leaves unfurled and filled my infuser. This green tea was not bitter like some....it was filled with so much flavor and a nice aroma. What I love is that such a little truly goes along way. Aside from making a hot tea it will be nice to make it into a cool green tea drink to stay hydrated in the warmer months.

Pure Leaf Gunpowder Green Tea Loose Long Leaf is perfection! Pure, clean and aromatic - not bitter at all! A lovely, lingering sweet aftertaste and beautiful dark olive hue in the cup. Do not boil your water, do not steep too long, get it right - bring water just to the boil, then pour over your infuser in the pot or warmed cup. Wait for 1 minute (personal preference) and remove infuser. Delicious! I reuse 1 teaspoon of leaves in my infuser, for several cups. It is a wonderful leaf, beautifully wrapped and coiled, with excellent flavour. I highly recommend this brand - Pure Leaf, as it will last a long time, is high quality and easy to scoop out of the lovely container. The lid on the jar is hand friendly for those that suffer like I do, of crippling arthritis. I really prefer this loose tea to any tea bag out there. This is a winner hand down.

Pure Leaf Gunpowder Green Tea Loose Long Leaf is a tasty tea to use in many ways.

The first time I used the tea, I followed the instructions exactly. I was shocked at how little tea I put in the infuser and thought it was too little, but the leaves expanded enough to fill the infuser. Although I steeped it for the recommended 3 minutes, I found it pretty weak.

I found the tea pretty plain, but it was perfect when I chilled it and added it to smoothies.

I wonder about the effect of the tea being a plastic container and the sun over time. All other tea I own is not exposed to light, and I wonder if that exposure may lessen the flavor or make it stale.

I #gotitfree, but found it at Walmart for $8.47 which I think is on the pricey end.

Overall, I enjoy this tea and would recommend it, but would not purchase it for myself.

#gotitfree Gunpowder Green Loose Leaf Tea's packaging is right to the point and easy to read. The tea is loose leaf and therefore less packaging and less impact on our environment.. My first cup of tea i did not follow instruction and just filled up my tea container. Boy that tea was strong!!!!! The next cup i put in the right amount stated on the bottle instructions. I let the tea steep for the time that was suggested and 3 mins was just right as this tea is stronger then the Pure leaf Green tea with Jasmine. I liked this tea and possibly might purchase in the future. Thank you so much for this opportunity to try before I buy. :)

I received this as part of the ChickAdvisor Review Panel. I'm usually a fan of sweeter teas, but this works for my caffiene fix. It's not too different from asian green teas, and I was pretty happy with the taste. I wouldn't necessarily follow the directions on the bottle, if you drink tea, just follow what you usually do. This is targeted towards more advanced tea connoisseurs as it is loose tea. I didn't find that there were too many small pieces, so it works pretty well in a teapot. I'm a little surprised that it doesn't mention anything about how much caffeine is in this tea, as other specialty teas do. There's also a decent amount in this jar, so I don't anticipate running out very soon, especially as it works well with a teapot.

I have tried gunpowder green teas before. But they had never been as nice as this one. I can taste the quality and I think it's first grade selection. It's worth every penny. I'm really surprised about how much I love it.

I was so excited to receive this tea, as this year i finally got off my coffee habit and switched to green tea. This was by far the most amazing, delicious, fresh green tea ive had in a long time. It steeped so wonderful. I love the leaves how big they expand. This is my new favorite. thank you.

i receive this box for free..thanks you. the taste was not sweet .it is too strong for me . the jasmine tea is better. but it s ok for the price . the box is beautiful .
