Smells Like Hot Chocolate - Yum!

As someone who likes cocoa I was surprised at the generous amount of cocoa. It was sweet, tasty and smelt like hot chocolate. The sea salt balanced out the sweetness nicely and I didn’t need to add anything to it as it was filling. I would definitely have it again and would recommend it.

Quaker Cocoa & Sea Salt Flavour Instant Oatmeal is a quick and easy way to prepare oatmeal for breakfast. It has the goodness of Quaker oatmeal and the fabulous taste of cocoa and sea salt. I like the fact that it is made with 100% Canadian oats and contains no artificial flavours or colours. I love this product, and I recommend it to anyone.

Possible Breakfast Option for Kids

I have had Quaker instant oatmeal products in the past and was excited to try the new Cocoa & Sea Salt flavour. I prepared the product in the microwave using soy milk. Upon pouring the contents into the bowl, it smelled like hot chocolate. I was worried that it might end up tasting too sweet, but it had a nice chocolatey flavour without a strong sweet taste. I didn't really taste the sea salt though. I prepared the product as per the instructions, however I found it was a lot more liquidy than other instant oatmeal products I have tried. Based on the fact that this is supposed to be a "chocolatey" breakfast experience, I was impressed with the nutritional information; 160 calories per package, 2.5g of fat, 4g of fibre, 5g of protein and 8g of sugar. Not too bad! While I do enjoy Quaker instant oatmeal products, this flavour isn't my particular favourite, however it may be a good choice for parents with fussy children.

Wow! This is great for breakfast when you want something warm and quick! I love the subtle chocolate and salt flavors. I will buy this again for sure!
