I bought this set of brushes on sale at my local drugstore, solely for the purpose that I had no standard brushes for makeup application at that time. I can't remember the price of them but I do remember thinking that it was a bit overpriced. Once i started using them, I noticed that the big, fluffy face brush lost bristles constantly and I found myself brushing away bristle hairs from my face every time I applied face powder. The other brushes I used for eyeshadow and eyebrows and I didn't find that they lost bristles, but they weren't the gentlest on your eyes. Overall they do what they're intended to do, but I just think that there are other makeup brushes that could do a better job.
