Anyone who fishes knows that a decent lure is not cheap – even losing a $4 or $5 lure is disappointing, especially from the first cast!

We have tried a multitude of different lures, and the double hook system on these lures is different from the spoon or single hook system lures we currently have in our tackle box.

When I showed these lures to Husband, his eyes lit up like a Christmas Tree!

There are 5 lures in total – each with two triple hooks, and a plastic front with o-ring to attach your line to. I do like the variety of colours and the reflectiveness of the exterior coatings – and apparently so do the fish!

We lost one lure to a large Trout on the lake this weekend. The plastic detached from the lure fish – but that was one of the biggest Trout we had ever almost caught on the lake, and reeling him in was a challenge!

For me, they are perfect, as I prefer trolling right off the dock, catching the sun fish, and even trout and pike when I attach worms to the lures (they are smart fish, and plain lures do not always attract them). For the larger fish, I hope they hold up for a while after our detached lure incident with Big Trout!

Overall, we are quite pleased with our experiences with them so far. We do usually fish off the dock or canoe out from the shoreline, so I am unsure how well they do with deep water fishing. With their light weight, they do not sink too deep into the water.
