Okay, if you're like me, you read a tonne of beauty blogs and have been reading the buzz on Revlon's new foundation, PhotoReady, for the past few months. Well, fellow beauty addicts, it's finally hit shelves here in Toronto and I'm here to tell you, it's a winner for me. I actually inherited the shade 005 Natural Beige from my sister, as it was a tad too dark on her (bonus for me). I was initially put off with the SDM pricing of $21.99 but she actually bought it at Walmart for $15.99, big savings in my book, and that's their everyday price! In any case, here's my thoughts...the colour match for me is decent, the coverage is medium but covers nicely and feels weightless on my face. The pump bottle is genius and I applied with a foundation brush and set with a translucent loose powder. I liked the result a lot. Dewy and fresh looking. There has been a lot of chatter about this being to "sparkly" but I found it gave the face some dimension and nice glow. I also heard some complaints about this settling on dry spots etc...whatever people, ever heard of an exfoliant! I'm mean geez, any foundation is going to settle on a dry patch, why not try some moisturizer for a change. LOL In conclusion, after wearing a few hours, my face still looks fresh. I am pleased with how it wears and feels. So all and all, it's a big thumbs up from me. If you shy away from the dewy look or are afraid of some slight shimmer, then this isn't for you.

Ok, so I had to update my review cause I finally figured out the correct Photoready colour for me...it's the #008 Golden Beige. Just to let you know, the odd numbered colours are pink based, and the even numbered colours are yellow based...also important to note...#006 & #007 are darker than #008. Not sure why but I've consulted a number of beauty sites and everyone concurred. So if you're a MAC NC35/NC37 this is your shade. Once you get your match, you'll never look back...this foundation is a dream come true for me. The pump bottle is genius and a nickel size amount really is more than enought to cover the entire face. I apply and blend with my fingers for this particular foundation. Make sure to moisturize light about 5 min before application...this stuff applies like a dream, seriously. It stays fresh all day and looks great even 12 hours after application. I can only speak to my experience but I have to say, I have found my holy grail foundation.
