Love this product. Provided you chose the right color for your skin. Leaves your skin looking flawless without the need to add a top powder. Works best when applying with a brush and doesn't leave your skin feeling caked or heavy.

Girls, we always want to look our best but we don't want to look like a clown all caked up with make up. Using Stay Matte Liquid Mousse as your foundation, adding a nude lip color, and a few coats of mascara we end up with a sophisticated and chic look. We can use this light look to go out with friends, to work or too school without looking like we've overdone it. With the rimmel London product will feel the most comfortable because it's light, not so heavy. This is my favorite look. And for the night time just switch your nude lip color to a bold red. Looking your best from day to night.
All you have to do is trade in your day outfit for a night time outfit and some amazing shoes to pair with.

This foundation is ok. I purchased because I have oily skin and wanted a foundation that helped me stay shine free. While at first it does make my skin nice after a few hours my skin gets shiny. It says it's lightweight but I wouldn't say that at all. It's definitely a heavy foundation and can look cakey if you apply too much, so a little goes a long way. The price is great. A lot cheaper then most drug store foundation which is a plus. I'm not sure if I will repurchase this again or not.

I loved loved this foundation, I haven't used this in a while but I would definitely buy it again. The prospect of purchasing this product and using it again is very exciting to me. The coverage was great and had a lightweight feel to it. The foundation did stay matte for quite some time before breaking down but that would depend on the person's skin type. I loved using it.

This was the first "foundation" I ever owned, literally. Originally I LOVED it, because it was matte and I thought the finish was nice. I haven't used it in forever, probably almost a year. It oxidized and turned me orange which was not cute, so unsightly! Lol. I'm not sure if it was because it was too dark or just old. I like the foundation overall -- its texture (slightly runny), finish, etc., & it's paraben free and non-acnegenic. I believe it's discontinued but if you can get your hands on it, you should definetely test it out on your hand/wrist to make sure it won't oxidize on your face.

I use the soft beige shade (200).
I use a makeup sponge to apply this product and find it spreads well with an average-sized amount. Coverage is mediocre, however. In terms of the "stay matte" claim, they may as well throw that out the window -- this product is no better for reducing shine than any other foundation I've tried. As far as the clarifying claim, I don't think this product has any stellar ability to prevent or remedy breakouts.
I also got a Fix & Perfect foundaiton primer as a bonus with my purchase. Honestly, I feel that this step could be skipped entirely. I can't say that there were noticable skin-smoothing or pore-minimizing effects as claimed, and especially not enough to justify putting a whole other layer on my face.

This foundation is supposed to be for oil prone skin. I usually use Lancome but I've been low on cash so I wanted to try something a lot cheaper. Since I have oily skin, I wanted to try Rimmel Stay Matte, because it was oil free and claimed to keep shine to a minimum.

For the price, it wasn't terrible. I like that it is oil and paraben free and has salicylic acid in it. It is more matte than most other regular foundations I have used, but it didn't feel as light on my skin. It did keep shine down and didn't make me break out, however, it didn't give good coverage (it didn't cover any blemishes really). It didn't have a huge selection of colours so the shade I bought is slightly too dark for me.

I'd reccommend this if you're one of those people who doesn't need much coverage but still needs a little shine control, i can see it working perfect for that, but if you have blemish marks you need to cover up you might wanna go with something else.
