Saving money with Rubbermaid FreshWorks

Rubbermaid FreshWorks Produce Saver is a must have in any kitchen. This product really works. The concept works great. The plastic is quite durable and doesn't look very cheap or tacky. It is very easy to use.

This product is great for fruits or vegetables. I know in the instructions, it says to not wash your produce and put it directly in the container. You can still wash your produce and just try to dry them with paper towel or clean kitchen towel before putting inside the produce saver. Same thing if you like prepping salads for the family and you want it to be ready to be portioned or eaten, you can cut up some lettuce and spin dry it and keep it in the produce saver.

I got this product for free as a part of the Chickadvisor's Product Review Club. I had to buy the other 2 sizes and so far, they have all been good addition to my kitchen. I am usually by myself so lots of produce goes bad on me but since I started trying out this product, I am quite impressed and I don't throw out lettuce or berries that have dried out or go rotten or moldy on me. I had to wait for a good week from the time I tried this product and writing this review. The strawberries I had in the container still looked fresh after a week. The cut up lettuce didn't start to go brown til the 4th day. Usually just after a day, my lettuce goes brown and limp in regular container.

The crisper feature on this product is nice and works well. I am planning on buying some more. I know the price can be a little bit steep for some. For a 3 pack (all 3 sizes) , it is almost $30 at Walmart. So I would recommend waiting for good sales. You can also check out Costco.

Perfect for my household

We have a lot of different produce in our household. I tried this with fruit and veggies and I think it does an awesome job on both. It fit well in my fridge and was easy to clean. I bought a few more after receiving one free to review because I liked it so much.

So much saved fruit

I have the worst luck when it comes to fruit expiring or molding only after a short time of having it. I have tried conventional Tupperware to try to help my fruit last but it doesn't work! When I first got this product from Wal-Mart I put a mix of cherries and grapes in it. I am so impressed how it's helping them last!

I can't get over how awesome this product is!!

I got this Rubbermaid Freshworks Produce Saver for free from Chick Advisor. It can be bought from several places like Canadian Tire and Walmart for $15 (for the medium). I honestly love this product! I put a few of my veggies in the container the day I bought them, and to my amazement, they stayed fresh for more than a week!! Since then I have been trying the produce saver with different food products that tend to go bad quickly, and it works just as well with all types of food! Although the price is a bit high for the container, it is definitely worth buying! Another thing I love about this produce saver is that it is dishwasher and microwave safe! It is also very easy to clean by hand! I will definitely be buying the other sizes and recommending it to all of my friends and family members, as well as you!

Wow! La découverte du mois! Jai acheter le grand contenant pour en faire l'essai car je voulais des intellifrais mais je les trouvais bcp trop dispendieux. Jai tester brocoli et choufleur: 3 semaine encore utilisable cuit ou en soupe! , les framboises bin 1 grosse semaine 1/2 et sont superbe. Je suis épaté et je vais aller chercher le kit de 3 plats! Fini les legumes au poubelles fini les fraise et framboise pourri apres 2 jours! Facile a laver et a utiliser, le filtre du couvercle est bon a vie, je suis conquise

It really works!

I received this from ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. It seems pretty expensive. The medium one, even if on sale at my local store, costs $11. But it is worth every penny. I used it for blueberries, cherries and grapes and it makes the fruit last twice as long. So now I'm not throwing away produce that come in bigger packages at Costco. Make sure that you follow the instructions and do not rinse and cut the fruit before putting it into the container.

Wow, it works.

First off these aren't cheap, but neither are fruits and veggies, and throwing them out because they rot is not just wasteful, it is expensive. I bought some strawberries a few days before getting this, they already were turning, I knew in two days they would be moldy. I put them in this containter and week later they look great. The tray helps keep the fruit or veg out of any liquid that sweats out, the vent at the top helps circulate air and has a fancy filter to keep them fresh longer.

I am shocked at how well this worked to be honest. I am going to run out and get a big one for my baby spinach, because frankly I am sick of picking slimy leaves out of my mix and having to toss away good produce after a few days.

Surprise par son efficacité

J'ai été très surprise de voir le prix de ce contenant. La qualité du produit est indéniable.
J'y ai mis des raisins frais pour le test et ils sont toujours aussi frais apres plus qu'une semaine. Maintenant, je suis impatiente de me procurer un plus gros format pour y mettre mes légumes frais et ainsi sauver du gaspillage inutile.

Keeps produce fresh!

This is an excellent product. I stored some lettuce in my container and then tried blueberries. Both kept excellent in my #Rubbermaid Freshworks container. This product is slightly pricey but well worth it! I however, #gotitfree from @ChickAdvisor but plan on purchasing the larger sizes as I do believe this product delivers!!!

Keeps fruits and vegetables fresh!

I have been using Rubbermaid containers ever since I was young. When I found out that I was going to try Rubbermaid's FreshWorks Produce saver, I was really excited! For this review, I cut up a whole romaine lettuce head and put half of it in the produce saver container and half in the bag that it came with. After a little over 1 week I noticed a difference. The ones in the Rubbermaid container stayed green and looked fresh while the ones in the bag started to turn yellow and brown. Overall, with its advanced features, I found that this product is amazing for keeping fruits and vegetables longer. However, I think that this product is a little pricey on its own (~$12). I rather buy the complete set with the different sizes (small, medium and large)(~$30). The container is easy to clean, has a clear bottom part to see the produce and easy to stack with other containers in the fridge. I would still recommend this product to those who are looking for ways to keep their produce longer and fresher. #gotitfree
