Just the Right Spicy Punch 🌶️

I loved it because even though it’s spicy, it has a slightly sweet touch, which really adds flavor, not just the burning sensation.

I made a pot roast and added it to the sauce, and it turned out delicious! I highly recommend it if you like bringing that extra punch to your dishes. 👌🏻

Spicy out of the jar, but works with meals!

I tried out Rude Mama's Passionfruit hot sauce and while I personally found it a bit too spicy for my taste buds straight out of the jar, it did add a nice kick to my meals (i.e. a hamburger). I also think this would be an excellent addition to marinades to give your meat a nice lingering heat.

Flavourful and versatile

The jar is huge and is going to last me awhile. Great flavour and a nice kick while still being super flavourful. A subtle hint of that sweet, fruitiness of passionfruit but still spicy enough to satisfy that spice craving.

Pleasantly spiced

Rude Mama Passionfruit Hot Sauce is the one you definitely need in your kitchen. It has a dominated roasted pepper flavour wrapped in delicious passion fruits and tomatoes. It tastes inviting, familiar and spicy. I like to add it to almost any dish like soups, stews, roasts, as a marinade for meat, fish and vegetables. Or use it as topping for tacos, pittas and wraps. This sauce is hot but it is pleasantly spicy. When I use it in our dishes, it adds amazing flavour and changes the taste for the better. Even on regular toasts it tastes amazing, add a few drops. The glass jar is the perfect container, no need to squeeze or shake anything. Just open a lid, take your sauce and enjoy your dishes!

I was gifted this sauce from Butterly and I can genuinely say I was amazed with the taste and flavour of this Hot Sauce . You can taste the tang of real passion fruit coming through, balanced perfectly with just the right amount of heat and savory. What also stood out to me is that it's gluten-free, soy-free, and nut-free, making it easier for those of us with dietary restrictions. And as someone who loves supporting local, the fact that it's made right here in Toronto makes it even better. I plan on using this on ALL my meals!

Love the passionfruit twist

As a fruit enthusiast, I found the flavors offered by Rude Mama to be super interesting. The sauce is thick and filled with hot peppers (which you can literally see) making it bold, strong, and fabulous! From my experience, the fruit flavor comes through as an aftertaste, which is pretty unique. I've tried it in different dishes, and it tastes best when the sauce is the primary flavor — with meat, cheese, ramen, etc. The branding is beautiful and memorable. The packaging is nice; I love that you can take a big spoonful of the product straight from the container. The fact that the company is based in my city (Toronto) and is Canadian is a big plus. Best hot sauce!

Amazing hot sauce that should be a part of your hot sauce rotation. Pairs perfectly with all your Asian dishes, especially Vietnamese dishes; has the best kick, sweetness and heat. It is a popular use in my household.
