I absolutely love these! They do take time and patience, but when you do them right, they have an awesome effect! I added a top coat of Seche Vite, and my nails stayed for two weeks! I did my big toes with the Flower Child print, and they lasted over a month! I can't wait to do leopard print.

You do need to have nicely-manicured nails and enough time... I think I may try to have the next set applied at the salon, but for the effect, they are very cool and fun! The price could be a little less though.

I just love these nail polish strips! I bought a pack of these (the pink glittery one, not sure what it's called) after reading a bunch of reviews about how great they were. Sadly though I didn't follow the instructions and decided to open up one of the packs, looked at the strips, and then placed them back into the box to use later, even though the instructions clearly state to use them as soon as you open up the pack otherwise they wont stick. So after wasting one pack I went back to a store and bought a new pack of them (the zebra style one, Wild Child.). This time I actually followed instructions.

First off, applying them. Applying the strips was incredibly hard for me. It was hard to get them at the right angle to put them on my nails and they easily became uneven while trying to file the excess off and I ended up getting a few wrinkles in a few of the nail polish strips during the process. 30 minutes later I finally got them all on, and besides quite a few dents and wrinkles, they just look amazing! I've gotten compliments while wearing them and the variety of strips you can buy is great. Of course, it's a lot quicker and easier to just apply nail polish (plus not as expensive), but if you have the time it's really worth it. I've already bought two more packs and it's getting easier to apply them too. Plus there are so many ways you can use them, you can paint some nails with nail polish and apply strips on one or two nails, or you can even use two different strips, one different one on each nail, etc.

So if you want some pretty nail designs and don't feel like paying all that money to go to a salon or, like me, are horrible at painting your nails and wouldn't be able to do designs without it looking like poo, be sure to pick up some Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips!

I bought this product thinking it would be easy. Well it wasn't that easy for me, but once you got them on and smoothed over they looked very nice. It takes a lot of patients for these and a lot of precision. The wear time was about a week (I'm a cashier, and didn't even expect them to last that long). Very easy to get off with nail polish remover.

Overall loved the product and the designs, hate the time incorporated !
But its better than nail polish itself, no drying time !

I bought this in the Houndstooth pattern. I was a little iffy since im paying 9 bucks for a 1 time color. I usually paint my nails every other day.
So i bought them and put them on. It was a little trouble getting the hang of them at first. the thing about this pattern is you can really tell when its crooked. they are a little flimsy, and pretty stretchy so it takes a finger or 2 to practice. once i had them on, i loved it! its a pattern i could never paint myself. They lasted about a week and a half for me. the tips started chipping a bit, but overall i was happy with how long they lasted. I fairly rough with my nails so thats why i was happy with how they lasted.'
    I would reccomend them

I bought some more in the xmas silver argyle sweater look. I loved it. My only issue is that I find it hard to get off after. But if i used a higher acetone content polish remover it would be easier
Still love the strips especially all the new colors coming out

I am in love with this product! I recently tried Sally Hansen's Salon Effects in Kitty Kitty (the leopard print) a few weeks ago and was amazed at awesome they really were! I was a bit hesitant at first and wasn't sure I would be able to apply the strips and have them look as good as they appear on the box, but once I got to work I was blown away by how easy they were to apply! After applying them I couldn't stop looking at my nails, they looked as if I had just gone to a salon and had them done. I also received a ton of compliments from friends and strangers, most of them didn't believe that they weren't done at a salon!

After applying them I was a bit apprehensive about them lasting as long as the box claimed. I have the worst luck with chipping my nails that I rarely make it a day without a chip! To be on the safe side I did do a clear top coat after I applied them. I was really shocked by how long these lasted on my nails! Even after 3 weeks they looked good! I had a couple of chips on the top edges of some of my nails, but because of the print I used you could barely tell. I few times the polish lifted a little bit at the cuticles, but a quick swipe of top coat fixed them up right away. I ended up removing them only because my nails had started to grow out and were bare at the cuticles. I do have to say though that the removal was a bit of a pain in the butt, they took a lot longer to remove than regular nail polish and took quite a bit of work, granted that won't stop me from using them again.

I would definitely use this product again! I don't know that I would use any of the solid colours, but I already do have a stash of some of the other prints. I wouldn't be able to get a funky manicure at any salon for the same price.

I was recently able to try out this new product from Sally Hansen. I'm not normally very good at painting my nails so I tend to stick to simply colors that easily hide my mistakes. Ha! Sally Hansen's nail strips promise a 10-day manicure with no drying time. Each box includes two packets of multi-sized , which are essentially nail polish stickers, and a tiny nail file. You pick the size that works best for your nail, peel off the protective clear plastic and the back coat, stick it to the base of your nail and smooth/stretch to the tip. The instructions say to use the nail file to crease the edge over the tip of your nail to tear off the extra length.

In practice, I found it much easier to use my fingers to make the sticker bond with my nail, not the provided file. Even then, it didn't like to stick to the edges of my nail, despite having pushed back my cuticles, filed and swiping with polish remover -- twice -- before applying the strip. Unfortunately, I only figured out to use my finger on the last few nails. The whole process took over 30 minutes and the edges, around my nails and at the tips, still looked rough. There was some tearing and cracking around these edges as time wore on.

The bright side is, if you weren't staring closely, my nails looked great. the ice blue was gorgeous, the strips went on flat and smooth and were vibrant but thin. I always wind up using far too much nail polish because I want vibrant colors but can't seen to get it with thin/1 coat. Of course, the nail strips won't fit your nails perfectly. Good luck with that.

I wound up taking this off about a week after I applied because three of my nails had peeled 1/3 or more. So I sat down with my cotton ball and spent twenty minutes scrubbing. It's REALLY difficult to remove the nail polish strips. You almost need to sand this stuff off. Ridiculous!

While I'm sure I'd get a better manicure the second time around, I honestly cringe at the thought of having to remove the polish and that has stopped me from trying. While there are some benefits to this method, it's super pricey. You can get an entire bottle of polish for the same price so it' not affordable in the least -- especially if you're going a solid color. Just buy the polish yourself. On the other hand, the prints and designs are unique so if you want to splurge on something special, it's worth it to give it a try but have realistic expectations.

I really like this product. It stays on for long periods of time and it does not chip (if you put a clear coat over it).

Love these!! I just applied "CUT IT OUT' (the black and white flower pattern) and it looks soooo cool. I was a bit apprehensive, wondering about how easy it would actually be to put these nail polish strips on, BUT it was almost too easy :)
First you make sure your nails are ready and pick out which strips would fit best for each nail (you get 8 different sizes for each hand, so you don't have to worry at all about this not looking right because your nails are big/small/etcetc).
Then just peel each strip away and press it onto your nail. The excess just gets filed off, and voila - beautiful nails that only take a few minutes. Plus you don't have to wait for them to dry (although I think I might do a clear top coat...)
The price is steep, if you think about how you can buy a bottle of good polish for the same price, and this is a one time deal. BUT, it looks like it takes so much effort, when it hardly takes any at all - and is much cheaper than an actual salon visit.
I'll have to see how long this lasts before chipping - some ladies have said it chips after a few days. But regardless, I will definitely buy this again. There are so many cute patterns available and this stuff is way too easy to put on!!!

This nail polish is amazing! So far I have used Check It Out, and Skinny Jeans and they are both amazing!
It takes a while to apply and chips easily - but only if you chip it yourself - but is VERYYYY amazing!
My friends and I always want to do your nails fancily (haha) before dances and we always use Salon Effects because it has such a great effect (pun intended)!
But, the price is kind of high ($10????) which is annoying but I love it so much I still buy lots!
