Love elderberry!!

My husband and I both liked these! We just so happened to both get sick recently and so we both got to try these. They taste great! Unsure if I noticed a difference after taking them because we only received 2 packs of 2, but I do know elderberry is something we always take when we or our kids are sick and it does work. It shortens the length of time the sickness sticks around! And it is a great immune booster for any time!

Sambucol - Black Elderberry Immunity + Cold and Flu Relief Gummies

I received several of these gummies to try for free from @butterly and @sambucol in exchange for my honest opinion.

I truly am not sure what to say about these gummies. I received two packs of two gummies… so 4 gummies. The recommended dose is 1-2 gummies daily.
When I received these I tried them immediately, as many folks around me were getting cold and flu symptoms. Plus, I work in a medical clinic, so I’m bound to get it , right? However, when I felt myself starting to get a scratchy throat, or sniffly nose, it never really progressed much past that. I have no idea if this could actually be a result of these gummies, considering I had only taken two, but I didn’t really get sick!

Yesterday before bed I was again, feeling a little sniffly and fatigued/under the weather. I decided to take the other two gummies. I truthfully can’t say if it made a difference or not. I didn’t feel magically better or anything, but I wasn’t expecting that either.

I feel like honestly, it wasn’t a great test to see how they worked with just two doses. However, I can say this. I didn’t get sicker, but I also didn’t get much relief from cold symptoms. They were kind of tasty, but with a strong elderberry/medicinal flavour. Kind of gummy/chewy texture, but not smooth, it was a bit gritty.

Overall, meh? I would give them another shot if I could, but I would prefer to use them longer.
