This WORKS!

PROS: I put this one through the wringer - workouts, humid summer weather, and moving houses. It held up the entire time, didn't require mid-day reapplying, and it smells amazing.

CONS: It can be crumbly - a few small pieces collect around the top and fell on the floor a few times during application. Not a huge problem, but requires a quick wipe off before storing in a gym bag to avoid crumbs everywhere.
It also left sweat stains on a few shirts after some heavy moving. They washed out, but it’s something to note if you plan on re-wearing a shirt multiple times before washing (ex during travel).
Plastic packaging. Let’s change over to cardboard or another biodegradable option!

Overall, this deodorant is a great option for those using natural deodorant. I would purchase it in the future and will recommend it to others.

Delicious scent, effective deodorant

The scent of this deodorant is just amazing! Fresh, interesting, not intimidating at all (and I am sensitive to scents). I absolutely love the scent! It also doesn't interfere with perfume at all. The deodorant is effective at keeping my armpits fresh - and I had no "adjustment" period, which is usual for other natural deodorants.

Great deodorant for everyday activities.

I really enjoyed trying Schmidt's Bergamot & Lime mineral enriched deodorant. The nice lime smell followed me all day and it was pleasant. The mineral formula protected me from smells all day, but I noticed it would not protect super well when sweating a lot (like when going to the gym). I also noticed a rash in my armpit the first time I used it, so do not use it on broken skin or sensitive skin, I think it has to do with the grainy texture of the backing soda in it. Overall I like this product and would buy it again.

Love how it smells!

Got it free through the product review club! It smells amazing- first impression is lime skittles, but it's not as overpowering as it sounds and develops into something more complex. I usually don't like fragranced products, but this smelled natural and not too strong. The deodorant applied easily. The texture was gritty but there was no irritation. Note that I am quite used to baking soda deodorants, but it's never given my sensitive skin a problem. It survives my workouts and I haven't noticed any staining, although my workout clothes are mostly light. I would like to see a zero waste option in the future.

I was looking forward to trying this as I only wear natural deodorant. I received the bergamot and lime scent which smells awesome because it's made with natural oils, no artificial anything. Added bonus it has magnesium added. It did have good staying power and the scent didn't fade that quickly. The deodorant does contain baking soda which helps to keep sweat from going through to your clothes, but with any natural deodorant it's meant to smell nice, not necessary stop you from sweating. I think the only drawback some people may not like is the gritty feeling of baking soda. If you're more sensitive I'd suggest trying one of their baking soda free ones instead. Personally I don't mind it and I feel it helps with the freshness and staying power. Overall 4 ⭐

A deodorant that actually smells good

I'm not a huge fan of most deodorant's but I actually liked this one ! It went on nice and seemed to combat any odours. I'm not sure if that is because of the scent of the product, but it is a nice and refreshing smell !

Smells great!

I really enjoyed the scent of this one. I got the bergamot+lime and it's a nice light citrus scent. The deodorant is a little gritty, but that is probably because the second ingredient is baking soda. You can't really feel the grittiness unless you apply too much of the product. It doesn't bother me.

FRESH

I have received Schmidt's natural deodorant and I used it right away . It has fresh lime scent, the formula isn't smooth as other deodorants it feels rough to the touch (like sugar scrub), but once it applied and warmed up by the skin it felt smooth. Its effect last long neutralize and cover up the odor, but the scent disappear quickly. It's cruelty free and natural.

great smell! best for summer?

I really, really love the smell of this deodorant, it’s very fresh but I tried it in early september and I think it doesn’t apply well in cool temperatures. It doesn’t glide onto the underarm and it is quite powdery. If you have sensitive skin, I think the crystals could irritate you.
