I received the product from Chickadvisor to test out. Just my luck I have a few pair of pants to fix. The instructions are easy enough. The only tool I needed was an iron. I ironed my pants to get a guide line and then used the stickers. They are really sticky! I used a full sheet peer hem and it wasn't quite enough. I did get some puckering and there was a bit of twisting. I did get some on the glue on the hot iron, so I'm dealing with that now.
I hemmed 2 pair of pants, one was a light cotton/poly blend and the second was a heavier cotton. I am a little wary of the second pair, but time will tell. I haven't washed either pair yet so I don't know how they will stand up.
So for now I'm happy with how easy it was and how quickly I was able to do it. Much better than staples and safety pins! Price is pretty good, approx $10 a box; I've hemmed 2 pair of pants. The only thing that would change my rating is if it didn't last very long.

This was a good thing because I had a pair of pants that I wanted to hem and had been putting off. I only had to fire up the iron to get a good seam line to use as a guide and then run a row of adhesive stickers along the line. I can only wait and see how long it will last through washings, but it made my pants wearable in a short amount of time.

just moved to a new house and needed to hem the new curtains until I could find my sewing machine. It was a bit of a nightmare getting them hemmed in a few areas, but I may need my sewing machine at all! Nice

I received these permanent bonding strips as a free sample to review. I found these strips really easy to use and they stayed attached through the whole day and didn't feel like they lost any of their effectiveness. I would definitely purchase them again and I have even told my friends about them and I'm sure they will be purchasing them.

I have a black pencil skirt that who's hem has half unraveled several months ago. For a while, I would wear the skirt forgetting the hem was broken, then out came the safety pin. It held the hem in place but no matter how strategically I place it some silvery metal always shines through my black skirt.

Needless to say, Scotch Essentials Permanent Hem Bonding Strips was just the product I needed. It was quick and easy to apply (took me less than 1 min) and the skirt looks as good as new. As for the "permanent" claim, we will have to see how the strip holds up after going through some wear and tear and a few washes.

For now, I am impressed.

I've always paid to have pants hemmed, so I was excited to be able to try it on my own! I was able to quickly and efficiently hem some of my pants and it was so easy. It doesn't look as great as when I pay an arm and a leg for a professional to do it, but at the reduced cost and ease of use I will try the product again and again. Thanks.

i had the opportuntiy to test out Scotch Essentials Permanent Hem Bonding Strips. Although I can seew, I dont like the thoughts of pulling out a machine to do a quick hem . WOW , I love the versitility and easy of use of this product. I had a hem coming down as I was getting ready for work. Get out the Bonding strips and moments later I can be on my way. No waiting , no iron needed...just fast and simple

Scotch Essentials Permanent Hem Bonding Strips are so awesome! I don't have a sewing machine and hand stitching takes way too long. The strips allowed me to permanently hem my clothes without having to take them to an alterations shop. Amazing!

I received this product free from Chick advisor and must agree that it works very well. I was going out on a spur of the moment date with my husband and noticed that my pant hem was down so I grabbed the Hem tape and a pair of scissors and cut the Hem tape to fit the area and all fixed. I love Scotch Essential Adjustable Hem Tape what a great product. I have added it to my kit bag and will be including some in my girls Christmas stockings - that way maybe they will stop asking to to do small repair jobs for them !
