I have trouble finding primers that make an even canvas for my foundation. A lot of the primers I've tried just kind of smear on and don't do anything, they don't smooth my dry spots or fill in fine lines and pores. Smashbox Photo Finish Primer is awesome. It isn't oily or shiny and it makes my face look and feel even, smooth & ready for the rest of my makeup. It is kind of pricey- for me- but it's a great product. I would try it if you see it on sale

I loove this foundation primer!! When I apply it to my face, it soaks in and makes for a clean, very soft even feel on my face. I have acne scars and get lots of pimples, so i love this product because it makes it easier for hiding spots and blemishes on my face, as well as my makeup goes on smoothly because of the foundation. I highly recommend this product to anyone, it is a little bit more expensive but with that, a little goes a loooong long way. I only put 4 little dots of this product on my face and it is more than enough! :)

This is the only primer I have ever tried,because it is so expensive to buy.I love,love this productPhoto Finish Primer by Smashbox in clear because I didn't know how it would come out or if I could use it under my foundation.When I put it on,just a little on the back of your hand,can go a long way.I used it especially around the eye area and anyplace I had wrinkles to cover.I also used my foundation over it jusi in case it wore off.It helped my skin to feel soft and smooth and almost wrinkle free.Because of the mousture in it,it helped to smoothen out my fine wrinkles and my skin looked flawless.It gives good comfort to know there is a primer out there that will make you feel good about your complexion.I have not tried any other kind,like I said it is very expensive but,there is one good thing about this primer,it stays on and it goes a long way.I just love my new find.

I got this in sample format and decided to try it out. I was very pleased with the results. It gives my skin a nice finished look, especially when I combine it with Olay cc cream. Especially at the price it is worth considering for a high end look at an average price.

This is good primer, nothing special in my opinion, and give a very siliconey feeling, but I do have to give Smashbox a pat on the back since they were one of the first to come up with primers, and now have them in different color for different needs.

It does smooth my face well, but at the same time I feel putting on foundation is more work because it feels so slippery going on. It is not my favorite primer to use, I prefer the ones that don't feel so siliconey, but I will use it once in a while.

Really like how it helps to set my make-up and leaves my face feeling soft and smooth. Occasionally I substitute it for my morning cream to look 'fresh' for the day.

This is a clear gel like fluid that you can apply either alone or under your foundation. It has the appearance of a clear gel ;but goes on very silkilly. I have relatively good skin for my age(46) but this uppped it up alot. My skin was softer and any small lines and discolourations appeared blurred. This was without the application of foundation:) It also made a noticable differance after applying foundation...I love it :)

I have been using this primer for about a year and my first thought about it was the slightly greasy texture. I was afraid that it would make my face look oily but with setting it with concealer and foundation and powder and blush, i was surprised at how long the makeup stayed. It shows really well in pictures too, no oiliness or nothing, a smooth but natural glow. I do recommend this product, and if you just want to give it a try then i suggest the smashbox sampler box which comes with an eye primer, mascara, eyeliner and lipgloss along with this primer.

Love Smashbox Photo Primer. Its the only one I use. Goes on effortlessly and smooth. Never goopy . Dont use alot as I thought I needed to the first time, sooo not needed a little goes along way. I Love how flawless it makes my makeup look. Great product.

I first got this as a sample in the mail, from god knows where. I was skeptical at first because I have tried many other primers that did nothing for me. I was so surprised that after 10 hours my makeup was still going strong, by now my makeup would have smudged or just disappear plain out of sight. If you are looking for an effective primer then you should definitely try the Smashbox Photo finish primer.
