I SO badly wanted to absolutely love this primer but I just can't.
While it DOES effectively hold onto my makeup and not let it move around with the oil I do NOT find that it matifies nor blurs the pores any more than their original or any of their other primers unless you REALLY pack on a fair amount ...and that only blurs, it doesn't matify any more by doing that.
I also find it an uncomfortable texture to work with and I always get clumps of it stuck in my eyebrows! I miss the Targetted Pore and Line Primer they replaced with this... This to me is just another Benefit PoreFessional which I also find does nothing for my skin.
Blah, please try again SMASHBOX... I'm just going to go back to your Blemish Primer which seems to matify better than this, FEELS better than this, and blurs the pores just as much.

Every time Benefit releases a new product, I get so excited. They’ve always been one of my favorite cosmetics brands. I find everything so innovative and cool and I truly love the majority of their products. I’m a big fan.
Most recently, they launched the Majorette Blush. Benefit usually just sticks to their boxed powders ands stains for cheek products so I was surprised that they launch a blush that didn’t fit into these categories. It is a peachy coral cream to powder blush. Usually I don’t like cream blushes because I find that they don’t blend well onto my skin on top of my foundation. However, because this one is a cream to powder formula, i found it very easy to apply and rub into my skin. It didn’t have a sticky feel to it, it felt like a very smooth, matte cream. Another thing that’s especially cool about this blush is that it is designed to be worn alone or under another blush for an added pop of color. The way I see it is that it act like a primer to intensify a blush, just like an eyeshadow primer helps make an eyeshadow appear more opaque and vibrant.
