90% OF CHICKS DIG IT
After hearing so many good things about this, I bought a tin. While I admit, it is a good price, I just could not like this. I am not a fan of the smell, but it goes away after a few minutes. I liked the idea of using this as a multipurpose lipbalm/body cream, but I found it was an average moisturizer on my hands/elbows, and if I was going to just be using a lip balm, I wanted one that I didn't get all over my fingers. It works well as a lip balm though, so if you like the smell and don't mind dipping your fingers in, you might really like this!
I have been using this balm for 5 yrs. I have never found any other product that can moisturize dry chapped lips like this can. It can also be used on dry skin if desired. I applied it on a sore chapped nose from too much nose blowing when I had a cold...amazing is all I have to say. Just keep it out of the heat...it will melt and make a mess if spilled.
I first bought this lip balm a few years ago when I was buying a dress at a local boutique. I had never seen it before but noticed a small display at the cash register. I asked the sales associate about it and said they were fantastic; not only moisturized your lips but it could be used virtually anywhere on your body. I was sold.
I have probably purchased this product over 15 times since that first day, because I simply can't get enough. It lasts surprisingly long for such a small container and especially considering I use it for just about everything. I love the smell and it's also not very sticky (which scores big points with my boyfriend.) I have used this product on dry patches on my face, elbows, and legs. I have used it on blemish marks, helping them to heal remarkably quickly. I frequently use it to moisturize my hands, cuticles and of course, my lips. If you can’t tell, I am a huge fan!
Love this product. I just realized have been using this since I was 16 years old, and I am now 23! The price ranges, but I've paid $6 at Sephora (sephora.com) and nearly $3 more at Vermont Country Store (Vermontcountrystore.com), when I paid $8.95; I guess I must truly love it ;-)
This is a sweetly, slightly-scented with rose aromol glossy lip balm. It has good lasting power. I actually prefer lip balm in stick or squeeze-on form. Pots, I find are too messy. I dislike the lip balm residue on my index finger. But, again, I do love my Rosebud Salve, so I put up with it.
The color is lightly tinted pink. I adore the old-school tin. I find the tin easy to open. Oftentimes, tins can be hard to open, but this one is not like usual tins. I definitely would like to try Brambleberry Rose and Strawberry Lip Salve in the future (also by The Rosebud Perfume Co.) :-D
this is some of the greatest lip balm i have ever used. i have the minted rose flavor and i can't get enough. it feels great on the lips and works amazingly. i also like the flavor and it lasts for quite a while.
I love this product! Especially for the harsh winter months in Michigan, it keeps my lips moisturized with the right amount of shine!
I. LOVE. THIS. PRODUCT.
Not only does it do a million things, but just the sight of the cute little tin in my purse makes me smile. It can be used as a lipgloss, on a dry cutical, on a blermish, and also apparently to treat diaper rash and detergent burns lol ... I have also used it to tame the odd cowlick in my hair, and also a teensy dab on the tops of the apples of my cheeks to get that je-ne-sais-quoi glow.
Some people have mentioned the scent being bad, but I personally love it. It is a cross between vaseline and roses ... what's not to like?
I would highly reccommend this product for the sheer joy of having an all purpose go to product in your bag at all times.
This is the only thing I carry everywhere with me. It's amazing and so versatile, it adds hydration and a nice sheen on your lips, can be applied to any dry spots on your body and I even use it on my eyelids when I don't feel like wearing eyeshadow. My lips tend to be a little drier and this ALWAYS works. It goes on really smoothly (unlike Burts Bees) and you dont need to constantly reapply. The little metal tin it comes in is also really cute. If you're looking for a great lip balm that does the trick, you won't be disappointed by this - I've gotten all my friends hooked on it!
I love this product! In those pre-historic days before we had Sephora and Urban Outfitters in Canada, I used to trek to the States just to stock up! Often described as having a "cult following," this gloss is multi-purpose like no other $7 solution. I have heard stories of it used from everything from an eyebrow tamer to a rash-reducer, but I know it best as my everyday lipgloss. It comes in a pot which isn't my favourite format, but I love it just the same. I usually use it on its own - it stays nice and glossy with NO stickiness (my personal pet peeve in glosses) and looks very natural because it is just lightly tinted pink. It also lasts forever and comes in a few other tints/scents. Awesome product!
I'm a lipbalmaholic. When I have a bad day, I go out and treat myself to a new lip gloss or balm to feel better. In this case, it definitely worked! I love the retro container and soft, pinky colour of the balm. The smell is nice and light and doesn't irritate me. For me the test is how it feels when I rub my lips together - smooth, not goopy and not gritty. While I'm not thrilled with finger application, after I have put it on my lips I rub the excess on my cuticles to soften them. Double duty!
