    Amazing Book!

I am not always the biggest reader but this novel got me hooked!! The author writes the novel in a way that is light but super detailed and realistic. I did not want to put the book down. After reading this I will look for more books by Amy Hatvany to read. The characters are super realistic which I really like. The novel is about a mother, Jennifer, who gave up her to young daughter, Nathalie and Brooke since she was incarcerated. This novel goes through all of their stores, from the past to the present, so you get an insight into all their lives and different obstacles they have faced. The book is about a family torn apart and how/if they reunite. This book will have you hooked! I would highly recommend!

Great Novel of Love and Loss

I found this book on sale at a three for $10 deal, or $6 individual, at Chapters.

This novel is about two sisters who were put up for adoption by their young mother, Jennifer, who got incarcerated. One of the daughters, Nathalie, got adopted into a loving home and one, Brooke, went through the system without ever being adopted. The book is told from three perspective: Jennifer, Nathalie, and Brooke. The novel goes from past to present to help readers understand the feelings up until this point. These characters are so well developed that I began to feel for each one, even with all their downfalls. The sister bond in the novel is amazing.

After I read this book, I went back to purchase the two other Amy Hatvany novels I found on the Bargain Books shelf.
