I am IN LOVE!!

I purchased a package of these from Winners for $5. There was a sale. You can eat 12 of these meringue cookies for 80 calories. These are fat free and you can find them in an assortment of flavors. These are the texture of a normal meringue which is made of primarily sugar and egg whites. They are stiff and crunchy on the outside and when you take a bite they are somewhat powdery but also melt in your mouth. You get an even mix of strawberry and chocolate cookies. You can taste the sugar in these as they are super sweet, especially the strawberry ones. The strawberry cookies have a very sweet flavor and the strawberry flavor only comes out mildly the more you eat them. There is an artificial strawberry flavor that is very mild. The chocolate meringue cookies are better and less sweet. The cocoa eliminates the overly sweet flavor. You can really taste the cocoa and chocolate flavor in these. These are a great treat and I really enjoyed the texture. I would buy them again and would love to try other flavors. These melt as you bite into them. First time having meringue cookies and was surprised at how sweet the strawberry ones are.
