I wanted some good-quality makeup that could take me from day to night. I love the shimmer and how it doesn't flake off my eyes and is comfortable on the skin. To me it was worth the cost.

This earthy shadow palette by Stila was very nice, creamy, stayed on all day without creasing was nice. It made my eyes brighter. It didn't excite me as the cost of $42 for a palette is too expensive for someone who doesn't wear a lot of eye shadow to begin with. I would look for something a little less expensive and maybe just buy 3 palletts of neutral earthy colours. This one had 12 colours in the palette. Most of the colours would go unused. The case was a gorgeous gold colour. If you don't mind the price and you would use all 12 colours, then I would recommend it. It just isn't for me.
