I really like this brush for several reasons. I like the fact that the handle and brush are all one piece, this replaced one that was two pieces and they kept coming apart. I like the size for my medium length hair and, most importantly, it doesn't pull my hair out. It has two types of bristles in it, which work together to hold the hair just enough to straighten or curl while drying, without causing any damage. It helps my hair have extra body at the roots and my hair dries quickly when using it. I have very fine hair, so I can attest to its value on my hair type.
