I received these as part of the Product Review Club. I don't like plastic applicators, but the new packing that can be re-used for the applicators was a nice advantage.

I won't be changing my current brand for these, but they were a step above plastic applicators I've used in the past.

In all honestly, I'm not a fan of the tampon, I prefer pads myself, so based on the packaging and the actual product (minus the usage) I would say the resealable packaging is kinds nice, obviously to throw out after this is definitely a bonus. However on the downside, not really something you want to be walking around with in your hand!

this product didn't absorb as well as my other always tampon, so I wasn't impressed at all.
fancy packaging isn't enough for me to want to buy a box of tampons

I received this product to review from Chick Advisor.

I love the packaging of this product, though I feel like it's a tad bit over the top. I mean it's not like I am going to put it out on display so to me it doesn't need to be this designed and pretty for me to want to use it.

I have a flow that is generally too light to even use tampons without it being uncomfortable. This time was no exception. I found them too thick for my light flow and it took a bit of time and effort and I didn't feel like it was comfortable at all during both inserting and removal. They are definitely way too absorbent for my needs. If they came in a smaller version I might consider trying them again. I'm not sure a plastic applicator is as comfortable to try and use compared to cardboard but it's hard to judge when neither is a comfortable fit for your flow.

The resealable wrapper is great to conceal them in when you dispose of them. I live with a male roommate so it's definitely a plus to be able to try and hide it to keep him from being grossed out.

Overall I really don't see me switching from pads anytime soon unless they come out with something thinner for lighter flows. I just find pads quicker and easier when I really don't have a huge need for a tampon in the first place.

First off I received these to try for free from the Chickadvisor Club.

So first things first....the packaging. The packaging is fantastic. It's extremely bright and would definitely catch my eyes in the store. The packaging of the individual tampons is great too. I love that there's a resealable sticker so you can dispose of the the applicator and whatnot by putting it back in the package.

The tampons themselves.....had great, and not so great aspects. The absorbency was flawless and I loved the idea of the leakguard braid just in case. These were super comfortable wear and I never had to worry about leaking. I also really liked the easy grip applicator.....HOWEVER.....I'm not a huge fan of plastic applicators in comparison to cardboard ones. I find them less comfortable to use......and these tampons were no different. It really was a shame because they do work sooo well......but I probably wouldn't' buy them again for myself unless they made them available with the cardboard applicators.

Overall.....a flawless product.....with a not so great applicator....at least for me. If you have no preference between plastic and cardboard these work great and I'd definitely recommend you give them a shot! They left me feeling confident (in having no leaks) and fresh.....which is great when nature is trying to make you feel not so fresh! lol

I received this to try from Chick Advisor Review Club. It came in a cute & pretty packaging. I like the peel back sticker idea, so I can open/close the package easily. The applicator was very easy to use & slides nicely. However, the tampon didn't absorb well as I hoped. It leaked when I wore it during the day, thus I had to wear liners while wearing the tampon. It doesn't seem to work for girls with heavier flow. I wouldn't recommend for girls with heavy flow. I think I will stick to my regular tampon brand.

I am not sold. There, I said it. I actually preferred the cardboard applicator for one reason only, the plastic applicator is not very nice to your area when inserting. I found it poked me rather unpleasantly before I inserted. At least with a cardboard applicator it has cotton on the end to protect you from an uncomfortable poke. I did appreciate the size, and thought it looked cute for a tampon. The packaging was awesome, and I appreciated the resealable wrapper. No more wrapping in toilet paper and creating more waste.

The Pros - Awesome packaging (peel back the sticker to a nice large opening to retrieve the tampon). As another reviewer said, it`s a great way to discreetly manage it in public without the usual crinkling and fussing around to get the packaging open. I definitely love the packaging better than my go-to brand (open like a bag of chips and push it out. Like my go-to brand, it`s easy to insert (love the smooth plastic applicator). I did notice the applicator was clearly smaller and more contoured than my usual.

The Cons - Did a terrible job on the absorption front. It did not fan out the way mine does. It`s shape (once it expands) did not suit my body well and left areas at risk for leakage (ultimately leaking when it would get too much). Thank goodness for liners! I never go without a back-up plan due to my typically heavy periods but being one of the lighter ones (relative to my normal), these could not handle it. I can only imagine what they would do with my regular periods. Yikes!

I received this as part of the product review club and pleasantly surprised on how much I liked the packaging. It was cute. I liked the soft wrapper and the sticker opening. It made it very easy and discreet to open in public washrooms.
The applicator is nice although I like to have more compact tampons. The long ones take up more space and harder to conceal. The only true negative I had was that the braiding was really loose and came apart. I felt cheap.
