I really like this cheek stain. It smells amazing and goes on nicely. The only problem i have with it is that it may be a little dark for my skin tone but that just makes me want to go and buy a different color because it is fantastic.
    Worth a try for sure

I've already established that I like tarte. Their stuff meets the criteria for my natural fresh face movement.

Their water-based blush gel sticks are alcohol and oil free. I always have a Flush in my make-up drawer. It's so good that even my mother is hooked. She was fascinated by the product and now I am consistently restocking her supply. I'm guessing they didn't make blush like this back in her day. It's definitely on the more expensive end, but lasts longer. On a sidenote, let's not tell my mom how much it is. I told her it's only available in a store by my house so that she won't go searching for it on her own. If she knew...her eyes would pop out of their sockets.

At the start of summer I picked up a stick of Tipsy. It's a sheer coral-pink with a light apricot scent. Just like it's name, you get the soft glow that appears after downing a glass or two of wine. Instead of pinching my cheeks, I can pat this on - different methods, same result.

Tip: If you want to sample a bunch of the colours, wait for a cheek stain set. Sephora usually gets one around the winter holidays. It's usually a trio of deluxe sample sizes in their most popular colours.

Attention: For a limited time, in celebration of tarte's 10th anniversary, Sephora is selling TEN, a shimmery bright pink.

I bought a trial size of this product in "the perfect pink" (which I actually don't think they sell in the full size version) & I really like it. It gives my cheeks a subtle glow. It was a little difficult to get used to it, as I'm used to using powder blush but once I got the hang of it, it was great. It smells good too! I do wish I bought a bit darker shade though, as this is a bit too pink for me. It will definitely look good in the summer though with a tan. I think I may go back & buy "Tipsy" because it seems like that is getting a lot of good reviews.

Tarte Natural Cheek Stain - Blissful —

I kept reading about Tarte Cheek Stain and everything I read RAVED about this product. I finally broke down and purchased my own and I am so glad that I did.

I was hesitant to use a gel cheek color because I just didn't think you could control the color like you do with a powder blush but I was WRONG. This water-based gel stays "workable" on your face and allows plenty of time to blend and perfect the application.

The results are VERY natural and so flattering. Your cheeks light up with a subtle and natural flush much as if you were blushing or glowing. I found that it really brightens my face and is such a sheer, luminous glow.

The color seems dark in the container but do not let that scare you. The product goes on as a very light tint. If you are looking for a more intense or deeper color you can layer the product by adding additional applications and the color will grow stronger.

You can easily apply the products with you fingers and the warmth from your fingertips will help the product to blend. If you don't want to use your fingertips, you can apply with a sponge or foundation brush.

Other things I should mention - the smell is wonderful...and the product is alcohol and oil free so it won't dry your skin nor will it clog your pores.

Initially the price may seem steep but you will use so little product per application that one tube of the stain will last you forever!

I bought the Tarte Tickled Cheek Stain 2 years ago and have yet to to finish a quarter of it. It does live up to the long lasting claim and you can use it on your lips which is great (but try to avoid greasy foods because it'll come off ). The only dislike I have for this product, is the scent. To remove the lip and cheek stain, use an oil based makeup remover, vaseline or olive oil.

Tarte tickled is a red blush that doesn't contain glitter or a frost. To apply, smile, stamp on the apples of your cheeks until desired concentration of color and blend with fingers in a circular motion until color is distributed. Don't blend too much or it'll fade.

Tarte Cheek Stains were my first experience with cheek stains. I had heard so many good reviews that I had to get my hands on these! I have so many now and love using them for a sheer flush of colour or underneath a powder blush. They are pretty long-lasting but I do find that they last longer with a light dusting of translucent powder. I also love that Tarte is all natural and good for your skin. The chubby tube is worth the money because it will last a long time. When you're in a pinch you can also swipe it on your lips!

I love this! This was my first make up splurge and I am very glad I bought it. Adds colour and sparkle but manages to look quite natural. Available in many colours, I use Tipsy.

One of my favorite blushes! (I've never actually used the Cheek Stain in Flush, but I have Blushing Bride.) Anyway, it applies easily--either straight from the stick or with your fingertips--and doesn't come off. You can adjust the level of color by how many layers your apply. Just make sure you blend it out with your fingers right after you put it on your cheek because it sets quickly. It looks so sheer and natural and it's a great choice for summer since it won't budge or melt away. Another little bonus is that each shade is scented.
