#15 in Tea

Description

teapigs' signature blend consisting of three glorious teas: a gusty, Assam, a mellow Ceylon, and a powerful Rwandan newcomer. Together they form a balanced, malty, zesty alliance. A perfect start to every day, but especially good for lethargic Monday mornings.

    Good tea

I liked this tea but wasn’t amazed by it. I don’t normally drink English breakfast tea but granted it was a good tea. My husband enjoyed it much more than me.

Truly the most delicious English Breakfast Tea I've ever had

I like strong tea with a bold taste, so no 1 minute dip in the hot water for me. For this reason most English Breakfast teas I've ever had have been a disappointment.

I was expecting to be disappointed by this one too but I was pleasantly surprised instead.

The tea bags themselves seem to be made of organza, so you know just looking at them that this is not just any tea. The box says they use whole leaf tea, not dust like other manufacturers. And it seems to make all the difference in the world. In fact my tea bag plumped up after steeping, so it was evident that whole leaves were used.
Based on the bold delicious flavour whole leaves do make a hugh difference to taste also.

Truthfully, I would love to buy this tea to enjoy again but the price would deter me from doing that.

I love Teapigs English Breakfast Tea.

    One of my faves

I normally don't choose English Breakfast and stick to Orange Pekoe, but I absolutely love this tea. I like my tea very strong and what I like most about this tea is it doesn't take long for it to get strong (about 3 minutes). When steeped, the tea doesn't taste bitter and it tastes so much better and of better quality than any other English Breakfast teas I've ever had (seriously, not just saying that).

Since trying this out, I find I have been reaching for this tea more in the morning than my usual go-to brand. That is saying a lot! I do find this tea a little pricier than normal, but you have to see that you're getting much better quality tea than other brands.

I got to try this tea as a ChickAdvisor staff member through ShowCase.

Brews a nice, strong cup of tea.

Teapigs' English Breakfast tea brews a nice strong cup in only three minutes. I usually like my black teas stronger than average with a splash of milk and a little bit of sugar, and only found that I needed to brew this tea for three minutes to get to that level whereas normally it takes five minutes or longer. This flavour of black tea is good for those mornings that you need something hot and caffeinated to get you going.

I'm also a big fan of the packaging. The instructions refer to the tea bags as "tea temples" which is really cute, and offer suggestions on how to tea it "Don't rush - just relax. The leaves unfurl. Try this with milk and maybe sugar." I think this is a nice touch people who may not know how to traditionally enjoy English Breakfast tea. Better yet, the packaging is printed using vegetable-based inks on sustainably sourced cardboard.

    Excellent afternoon tea

Tried this tea at the showcase and they must have oversteeped it as it was very bitter and too strong. I steeped it for 2 mins or so at home and added vanilla almond milk, no sugar. Turned out just how I like it and the tea has a nice flavour. Perfect with tea biscuits. Will buy again.

    Mmmm love the flavour

I love the perfect flavour of this tea.
I had never tried it before I got it in the box I purchased from #chickadvisor and this will be my new go-to tea every morning .
I’ve turned my best friend onto it as well from her usual Tim Horton’s morning runs lol
The price is great and the flavour is amazing.
I love the cute name too ;)

    Would be a treat

Very strong and bracing, also great flavor. Fairly high price point for 15 bags, would be a treat.

I want to try them all!

I received Teapigs English breakfast tea from the ChickAvisor Show Case at-kit. I never heard of his brand before the show case. After trying it out, I love the taste and they are perfect for the upcoming cold months! I also like how the tea leaves are in biodegradable mesh sachets. I high recommend this product and I would love to try out their other flavors!

I received this product as part of the at home kit . I am not a fan of black tea but ingave it a go and was pleasantly surprised that it was not bitter. The flavour was full but not at all the bitter aftertaste that I am used to with black tea. This tea is ok. I am interested in trying the lemon ginger. I also like that is is loose leaf tea and I like the cute little bags . I will be sharing this tea with a. Fellow black tea lover. #teapigsWholeLeaves #chickadvisorshowcase
